Geno finished the Regular Season as the highest rated DT that qualified. His grade was by far the highest ever given to a DT in the history of PFF

Of the Olinemen that started yesterday's game all finish the year with a positive grade except for 1 (Cook -5)

Andre finished the Regular Season as the highest rated RT that qualified.

PFF grades every NFL player on every play on a scale of from -2 to +2 using half point increments. The grades are based on context and performance. A 4 yard run that gains a first down after two broken tackles will receive a better grade than a 4 yard run on third-and-5 where the ball carrier did nothing more than expected. A good pass that a receiver tips into the arms of a defender does not receive a negative grade, despite the negative result.

Furthermore, grades are separated by play type. Beyond just an overall grade, an offensive lineman receives one grade for pass blocking and one for run blocking. The average grade is meant to be zero, and raw grades are normalized.

In watching every game, PFF is also able to record information and create data that is typically unavailable. Examples include how often individual offensive linemen yield pressure, passer rating against individual defensive players, and passer rating when under pressure.

Some are ready to count Clint Boling out, but I say let Kyle Cook go. He was playing well until Cook came back in. Whether it's coincidence, I have no idea, but Cook is straight up hot garbage.

Of the times Boling did badly on these scores I believe Cook was in the negative as well.

Theres GOT to be TEs worse than Gresham. Coats showed me what a bad TE was and Gresham is not a bad TE.

But Rey is the standard for worse MLB iv ever seen. We go from Dhani to Rey and its just.......bad

As far as I know, Gresh graded terribly as a blocker, and he dropped a ton of passes.

I think we'll drop Maualuga, but I think Gresh will be here at least until his contract runs out.

Which penalty? Helmet to helmet? or wasn't he offsides once as well?

BTW interesting that he got flagged for that but when Green took a shot straight to his face in the end zone from Jacksons helmet that was just a good play....

PFF may not be the best, most accurate thing in the world. But I have to 1,000% agree and say they are spot on about Rey Maualuga ! And that makes me wonder if they aren't pretty close elsewhere. And moreover makes me wonder how our coaching staff can justify keeping him ?

I've been done with Gresh for awhile. Is it just me or does he always looke like he could give a **** to be out there playing? That little crawl crap he did yesterday was the most effort I've seen from him all year. For a yard from scrimmage? Why not put that effort into first down catches? Scared of getting popped? 6-5 260lbs really? Too little too late. GTFO
