Lots of Needs in Draft

For a team that made the playoffs, the Bengals sure do have a lot of pressing needs in the draft, including the following:

Safety
RB (speed back)
LB (Howard's coming back, but Rey and Lawson are dead weight)
WR (I love Sanu, but he's not a 2nd WR in the NFL)

I do like Sanu for number 2. the team ws clicking with him playing. He knows how to get open and the dude can flat out catch a ball.

I agree with a back, the best one they can get in the first round. And, a strong safety.

Yes, another LB, but Malaluga needs replaced. he's just no better than a backup. Burfict needs help back there with speedy LB that can fill the hole. But for the most part I agree.

Safety - FS and SS
LB - Wouldn't be sad if Rey was gone.

I'm a Rutgers grad and I really like Sanu. However, he's not fast and will never draw more than single coverage. We need a speedier WR with good hands to complement Green. Marvin Jones has demonstrated why he dropped as much as he did in the draft. All the tools physically but not the head for the position.

AJ Green has spoiled you. As a general rule, rookie WRs struggle. Marvin showed me enough to think he can be a successful #2 as he continues to adjust to the NFL.

We need a linebacker, strong safety, a back with some speed, and more depth for the right side of the O-line.

Needs beyond that will be dictated by who we re-sign and who we lose in free agency.

We badly need a center and another linebacker. A good db is my third choice

The skins got their star rb in the sixth round.

I pray that Rey walks we resign mj and andre and we add at least one high quality player at a position of need, hopefully a veteran stud at center.

When we have two UDFA's rotating as Starters, I'd say yes we do. Both are average, I personally would like to upgrade that to better than average. What's the old saying? "It all starts in the Trenches"?

I'm with you about Jones, I think he is going to be better then what people think. Also depends on if we get a knew OC.

LB is a big one, have to get some talent there.

Have to disagree. IMO I think we need to build the heck out of the line and build the running game. I wouldn't be opposed to a Center with an early pick, rebuilding he RB position, and getting a TE who can block.

Also if there is any way they could sign Levitre from the Bills I would do it.

This. Im surprised at how everybody is saying sanu didnt show this and jones didnt show that. They are rookies and neither played the whole season. both to me can be very very legit nfl WR's and both have the opportunity to be the #2.

In the first im looking at the best safety, LB, POSSIBLY RB if hes outstanding and no outstanding safety's or LBs are there. then RB in the first of the second.

Sanu is a slot WR. Period.

Jones has potential. But, he hasn't developed as of yet. The Bengals desparately need another WR option (not TE option) that forces defenses to either choose to play pass or run.

The Bengals need a RB corp that can punish a defense if the defense plays pass. (Draft Bernard in the 2nd & Barner in the 4th.) Bernard/BJGE/Barner/Peerman

The Bengals need a WR corp that can punish a defense if the defense plays run. (Probably sign a vet WR to buy some time for Jones to evolve.) Green/Jones, Sanu/Hawkins, FA/Whalen?
