Still not sure why they have the poor excuse for a football game called the Pro Bowl except it gives some players a free trip to Hawaii and some cash. I can't stand to watch 5 minutes of this game as the players act like sissies and just simulate tackles. I'm glad AJ and Atkins made it. But, lets just skip the game.

I personally really enjoy the skills challenge, but I always seem to miss it... and I don't even know if they do the skills challenge anymore. |

I've been saying for years they need to replace it with a skills contest at the Site of the Super Bowl so those players can participate as well. All the players will be there the week before anyway.

I'm going to say it. Only homers watch the Pro Bowl.

Why do Browns fans watch it?
And what exactly about the Pro Bowl makes you a homer if you watch it? Seriously....I'm legitimately curious.

I think homers watch it because it is a poor excuse for a football game. Might as well watch a practice session. No difference.

After watching last years debacle, when the crowd started BOOOOOOing, I will never watch another one. What a pathetic excuse for a game! The only time anyone played hard is when they were trying to literally rip Cam Newtons head off! HAHAHA that was fun to watch!

Seriously....there are several teams that don't have a player participating this year. Are their fans homers if they watch it as well? If so, what are they homering over?

I watch it because its the last time I get to see bengals players for a while. Even tho it's a joke of a game.

Being a Bengal fan, it's nice to have players from the team named to it.
But, as everyone knows, the REAL all-star team is the All-Pro team.

I remember a few years back they had a rookie flag football game on the beach. Promising Rb from New England destroyed his knee (there was talk of amputation) and never regained form. So I don't think a Flag Football game is an option.

NI wonder if green and atkins wil hang out and try to build team comraderies or will they more than likely hang out with their position peers. They are both from georgia butt geno is quiet and probably will be in the weightroom the whole time lmao!

I don't know, I kinda like the pro-bowl, but I do not expect a real football game out of it, I view it more like a flag football exhibition with all star players.
I like remembering the year, hearing the updates and interviews with the pro-bowlers, plus I get a sense of pride in the team when I see the striped helmet out there among the rest of the best. Admittedly it would be cool to see both teams go at if full tilt, but we all know that players are not going to put their careers on the line for a game that does not mean anything. So that is just not going to happen. Some people say lets have a skills challenge instead, but that is not a real football game either so just look at the ProBowl as a skills challenge based on a football game and it can still be enjoyable to watch, it is all a matter of expectation. Plus even a bad football game is still better than 95% of what is on TV.

Re: Green and Adkins in Pro Pathetic Bowl
Who is this Adkins you speak of in the title?

They should do the Pro Bowl AFTER the Super Bowl.
