I (unfortunately agree) on the waste of time part. But it's not only the mayor of DC. There are people who also (rightfully) find the name offensive. Unfortunately the term "Redskin" hasn't had as much exposure as other racial slurs of the 20th and 21st century, and society won't do anything about it.

But there is nothing offensive about the Cheifs or Redskins name. One can only be offended if they allow themselves to be.

If the Native American residents wanted it changed That would be another issue. . But what the hell does a White Politician have to say about it.
