Oldest piece of clothing you own and still wear.

I was looking at some pictures from a camping trip over twenty years ago and realized that I still have the same long sleeve hooded t-shirt that I was wearing in the picture. I have always liked it because it has a hood, but is lighter weight than a sweatshirt or fleece. It also has an old school thin striped pattern that I think looks cool.

Anyone else have any old clothes that they still wear? I still have my letterman jacket from high school that is over 34 years old (actually my mom has it), but of course I never wear it. So stuff like that doesn't count.

I have a Bengals tshirt I got back in the 8th grade. It doesn't really fit me anymore, but my wife still wears it.

Well, I suppose I was 13 in the 8th grade, so approximately 19 years old.

Depends on what you mean by "best"

If you mean overall best in quality/expense probably one of my many dress shirts.

My 28 year old son brought his new girlfriend over the other day and we were looking at some old family pictures. We were making fun of a picture of him when he was 13 that I was also in, when I realized the Bengals Jacket I had on in the photo still hangs in my hallway closet and I still wear it regularly. It is made by "Starter" and is of amazing quality. I can throw it in the washer/dryer and it comes out still looking like new. (The year on the photo was 1997)

LOL. Pategonia boxers made with a wicking material. They are probably 12 years old and still look brand new.

To answer the OP I also have an old black hooded sweatshirt. I have had it so long I do not remember when I got it. But its awesome. Not something I wear out but lounging around the house I wear it all the time. Had it at least 10 years. More likely 15

I still work out in a No Rest For The Wicked Tour Ozzy shirt (XXL) I bought at Riverfront Coliseum in 1988(9?). I also have a Van Halen 5150 Tour shirt that just died. My 1990 Pantera Cowboys Tour shirt was already ripped when I bought it, but the washer finally killed it last summer. The washer then died a slow and painful death in October.

Got this for Christmas in 6th grade, which was 13 years ago. Still rock it quite frequently and even has one of my former teammates blood stained on the right sleeve from a checking drill in practice.

I even wear it to Columbus when the Caps come to town.
