5 Bold Predictions for the upcoming draft!


1) Kevin Minter will be the first ILB off the board.


2) Quinton Patton will be selected in the first 20 picks.


3) Brandon Williams DT Missouri Southern will be the talk of the combine.


4) Ezekiel Ansah will be a top 5 pick.


5) The best RB of the class will be drafted in rounds 4-6.

Brandon Williams is a beast who I wouldn't mind having. Patton is a legit #2 WR who I've mocked to us many times.

1) Bengals will not draft a DT in the draft

2) We will draft a QB in the 3rd or 4th round

3). Mainti Teo will drop out of the first round all together and the Bengals will select him at pick 37.

4) Bengals will not select a receiver in the draft after signing D. Bowe in free agency.

5) Ray Lewis will replace Jon Gruden on the espn set for the draft.

If we do draft a QB which I think isnt a bad idea I hope we get our hands on Zac Desert. I think hes the best in the class.

1. We will trade back a few spots and select a RB in the first round. Either Bernard or Lacy.

2. We will select a QB in the middle rounds. I would bet either Aaron Murray (AJ's old Qb) or Zac Dysert.

is anyone in the forums besides me tired of hearing Lacey's name. For us to get him in the 1st or 2nd is a mistake period. He is another BJGE. And getting a guy like Giovani is a huge mistake unless he drop to 3rd. He is the most injury prone back in the draft and ill bet he spends his rookie year on IR. I would fill others needs and roll the dice on guys like Randle and Ellington being in the 3rd round.

I agree with waiting on a RB as long as this team doesnt pass up good talent before they take someone like they did last year. Good RB can be had later this year but we need to take one this year no doubt about it.

1. Tyler Bray and Landry Jones are the underrated QB's in the draft.

2. Sheldon Richardson will be a top 10 pick. Bjoern Werner will not.

3. Eric Reid overrated.

4. DeAndre Hopkins will go in the 1st round.

5. Ogletree to go in the 1st...weak linebacker class.

I agree with you on most of these but if Werner falls out of the top ten it will only be until the eleventh pick.lol. I also think Ogletree will be a better fit as a WLB at the next level .

yea it will all depend on draft day, if RB start falling off the board then get one with our second 2nd rnd pick. But I still feel it should be a guy like Joseph or Ellington, just personal opinion.

Completely disagree Lacey is not another BJGE guy at all as he is shifty and has a move to make guys miss. BJGE runs a 4.6 40 and Lacey a 4.44 40 which means he has "take it to the house speed" and BJGE doesn't. I was actually a huge BJGE fan this year often times defending him, but the only thing they have in common is size as Lacy has speed and agility to match.

Zac Dysert is one of the best qb's in this class and I think he will be a great player down the road. However, I see no reason to take him or any other qb, because we don't need one and we have other more important needs. However, I understand that is your guys bold prediction, so who am I to argue?

Lacey DOES NOT have 4.4 speed. That would make him as fast as guys like Ellington. So unless he has been running personal 40's for you and or you could provide a link to a website where he ran a 4.4 please let us know. The fastest i found he ran was 4.58 and that was when he was 10 pounds lighter.

So then you agree that he has 4.64 speed? If Eddie Lacy had 4.42 speed he'd probably be the 1st player taken in the draft.



As to the OP:

Jarvis Jones is on the board when we draft

We takea safety in the 1st round for the first time in team history

We take ANOTHER DT

Matt Barkley is the 1st QB taken

We get a 7th round pick
