Those of you who are ready to jump off a cliff with all this gloom and doom, get over yourselves, none of you thought they would probably even get as far as they did. The threads and posts when the Bengals were 3-5 prove that.......

I beg your pardon

I think Marvin and the boys will pull off the last spot for the playoffs.

Similar to last year.

The Bengals, by most accounts were a year away anyways, that year starts now. With a great defense, core offensive players, a dabble of tweeks in FA and a good draft the Bengals are poised to compete for championships!

So quit your crying and lets get ready for a great 2013! The time is now Bengaldome!

Who-Dey!!!

Agree.

These are the good days to be a Bengals fan.

The Great days are very near as well.

And it is also well documented you thought this team was a "major disappointment." Have your broken ankles from jumping off the bandwagon healed so quickly?

So I guess Gradkowski wasn't the start of more great signings to come?

Just another fake opinion in a long line of fake opinions.

Kinda like this gem...

As most of you know I am a huge Carson Palmer fan and have defended him many times in the past, with what the Bengals brass has done in the off season the excuses are over.

Though many of you thought Palmer was not good last year and showed your displeasure, I was always there to defend him for the most part. I felt Palmer was strapped in many ways, horrible TE play, death of Chris Henry, loss of TJ, poor OC play calling and so on. Although I defended Palmer I still was of the belief he needed to step up his game, for the reasons listed following this statement there are no more excuses for him not to return to his pro bowl status.

1- Carson now has a legit 1-2 punch at WR with Ochocinco and Bryant the days of double teaming Ocho are all but over if teams are smart.

2- For the first time in Palmers great career, he finally has a legit TE in Gresham to throw to who can both block and catch. Unlike last year when the Bengals brought in Roland as TE everyone in the world knew it would be a running play, making mixing things up on offense almost impossible and being very predictable.

3- Continuity along the offensive line. For the first time in the last several years the line is returning everyone healthy and seemingly another year better.

4- The return of a healthy backfield in RB's Benson, Scott and Leonard, no reason this group shouldn't have a stellar year especially with the entire O-line returning healthy.

5- Bengals have a guy in Shipley who can fill in at the slot and become the next TJ. The guy caught an amazing 106 catches last year at Texas and is just what the doctor ordered in regards to a true slot reciever. The kid has special hands and is fearless across the middle.

6- In short, Bengals return the top 5 defense from last year which it is not unrealistic to think the 2010 defense has a chance to be better. A QB's best friend is a great defense and Palmer finally has one. If you don't believe me just ask Big Ben and Flacco how important a top defensive unit is.

7- Palmer should once again have a deep WR corp unlike last year. This WR competition should be great with Ochocinco, Bryant, Shipley and Caldwell being locks should be interesting to see what WR's are not on this team next year.

Bottom line is this, Palmer has a full plate with the 2010 offense if Palmer has a bad year again with this current offensive roster, barring injury, there is no one to blame but himself. The Bengals have done a great job of getting their franchise QB all the weapons possible to allow him to be as successful as any other great QB in the league.

My prediction is Palmer answers the bell, throws for nearly 4,000 yards again, over 25 TD's with only 10-12 int's and a QB rating in the 90's again where it should be. Along with his 3rd pro bowl, his 3rd division title and a playoff win and more.

What do you think Bengal Nation?
The CIA's enhanced interrogation techniques program actually finds reading your drivel a more effective form of torture than waterboarding. KSM gave misleading information after multiple waterboardings, but cracked like an egg after reading your first bullet comment, "Carson now has a legit 1-2 punch at WR with Ochocinco and Bryant." He laughed so hard until his sides were killing him and begged them to stop.

Now all the bengals have to do is show the fans they see it too, and are willing to make the changes needed.

I don't see how pointing out obvious flaws is "crying" but whatever.

If the offense doesn't get a hell of a lot better then they will be in the same situation or worse.

I expect it to get better... But a Hell of a Lot better might be asking alot..

Lots of factors come into play.. . Biggest improvement we need is to be able to move the ball effective without AJ
