Default Jon Kitna as QB's coach?
he seems to have a good rep as being a good motivator and all around nice/good guy on these boards. wasnt the best QB out there but he seemed to get people motivated. How receptive would you guys be to the idea of bringing him in as our team's QB coach and mentor to Andy?

I support Andy Dalton 100 percent. Some fans expect too much too soon or from too little.

Dalton is not the problem. Sometimes I think the only reason people gripe about him is because they have nothing better to do or simply like to read the word of their own writing, similar to when people complaining just to hear the sound of their own voice.

He is teaching and coaching at his old high school and has been quoted as saying that he has no desire to coach in the NFL.

nothing is set in stone.people can always change their minds. although i could understand him staying at the highschool level to mentor young children to keep them out of trouble. I think he would be a great addition to our coaching staff.

Loved Kit, and I think he'd make a solid QB coach, but I think he's found his calling.

He's doing great things for those kids in his hometown.

2. Let Maualuga go, move Burfict to MLB [ ] didn't happen
3. Sign a veteran WR [ ]
4. Draft a speed back high [ x ]
5. Draft a SS high [ x ]
6. Drop Lawson, draft a replacement [ x ]
7. Draft a center and let him battle with Cook & Robinson [ ]
8. Let Clements go [ x ]
9. Bring back Andre Smith [ x ]
10. Bring back MJ (as long as he doesn't demand elite money) [ x ]

These things need to happen to take the next step

Love John Kitna, but he won't be leaving his school. He came from a rough neiborhood and said the NFL has given him alot and he wants to give back to his community/give the kids in his old neighborhood the same opportunities he had. Stand up guy all around.

I'd be for it!!! My first choice would be Ken Anderson, but Kitna would be right up there after him.

He would be perfect. But do not see it happening.

Although many on here like him, as do I.

But he took a lot of grief at stadium while starting ahead of Carson.

Some Bengals fans can be very cruel and unusual.

Their was a lot of hate going around then and it did not stop until he was replaced and then ultimately left.

The only ones who come to mind are Kenny and Krummie. And maybe **** Jauron.

Great Read copy and post the link....Mentions NFL players chipping in, including Caron Palmers. Read this a while back, no one ever questions Kitna's heart, interesting to see how he changed his ways from his youth
