I have to find someplace to have it Lazer Sharpened... Its a big ******* Sword. From the Apocolypse Series (more of a collectors item than a weapon)


But I would pick up a new set of swords and knives in this event.



I have a 12 inch bladed knife with attached brass nuks and a 1 Handed Axe that are extremely sharp and easy to get to... (5 foot sword is a little big for indoor defense)

Ah, yeah, those collector swords don't hold an edge very well, either.

Only one sword of mine that is not blunted for practice is not a battle ready, could cut your arm off, sword. That sword is a replica of Glamdring. I want a battle ready one, but they are too pricey. My three "real" swords, two came from local smiths, one from England.

GlamDring is one i would want That and LongClaw (Game of Thrones) and a Klingon Batlif

the collector sword i have is 440 spanish steal... Which im told is good.

Would these help? Close-in fighting requires a smaller weapon. Plus, you can cut them in half faster than they can pull a trigger. As long as they don't know you're there.

Any stainless (which 440 is) is too brittle for actual combat. 1060 is what all of mine are. It's a strong steel that holds a good edge. Stainless will shatter striking a hard object.

Also, Longclaw is an awesome choice as well.

Eh, dagger in the left, long sword in the right, it's all you need.

Though I was taught medieval style swordsmanship, so fighting with those blades is outside of my knowledge.
