I believe many of you are complete morons and were the same who were praising Jay last year. I wouldn't be surprised if some of you brainiacs wouldn't start for Bratkowski to come back. Get real.......the offense had some struggles and many of it was because of:
1) the offensive line is over rated and has a sub par position coach who has been in that position for 15+ years. BTW the line has ****** for most of this guy's tenure as line coach. 2) no second reciever 3) no speed back 4)a tight end who has squirrel hands as a reciever |

If Jay does leave, Hue Jackson will become the OC.
Something I think we'd all be okay with http://www.cbssports.com/general/blo...ssistant-coach |

Re: Gruden to interview with JAX

Is it right? That's not the question. But Philly/Arizona/SD/Jax are all looking towards getting a young QB and want someone who can develop him. Why do you think Andy Reed went instantly to KC? (Another place that wants a QB developed) Here's to hoping the Bengals can snatch up Whisenhunt for OC. That guy actually knows how to coach a QB who throws quickly.

FA has really made me edit the crap out of my Wishlist/Draft... and not really for the better. |

I would agree, the offensive line has been the most consistently horrible of all the positions. The last half of the season they were the worst of all the positions. The line is always horrible. The team has not had a good line since the Super Bowl years. |

I agree. Jay is pretty decent offensive coordinator top 10 in the league imo. Losing him would hurt.

Not sure if you know what you're talking about. Bengals had a great OL in '05, even in some of the "dark ages" teams the OL was good. Defense was putrid, but the OL was decent with Willie Anderson and Co. They opened holes for Corey Dillon.

After the Eagles failed to get Brian Kelly, I think they might bite on Jay. He is probably the most well known coach they are currently interviewing. Jay might also get hired in San Diego or Jacksonville. Jacksonville is probably the best chance of him getting hired. Cardinals are still a possibility. I think he will get one of these 4 HC positions, leaving Hue as the offensive coordinator.

I like Jay, but i wouldn't mind seeing what Hue could do with our guys if Gruden decided to leave.

We keep hearing about him interviewing with all of these teams, but I've yet to see anything about a second interview...

One can only pray Jay and his 22nd ranked offensive gameplan go elsewhere.

I don't know what his career will end up being. I thought he'd end up being pretty dynamic and so far, that hasn't happened. If he does go, at least we're covered.

Most of the good coordinators are still focused on the playoffs. I don't think Jay gets a HC job.

I see him leaving but maybe thats just cause I would like to see what Hue can do.
I just see a team taking a gamble on a young energetic coach. But heres the other side to that coin, Hue will have a great year and be gone to a HC position of his own.

I support Andy Dalton 100 percent. Some fans expect too much too soon or from too little. Dalton is not the problem. Sometimes I think the only reason people gripe about him is because they have nothing better to do or simply like to read the word of their own writing, similar to when people complaining just to hear the sound of their own voice. If the world has no faith in me, Then I have no faith in it. Prosperity should not be shared with those who did not earn it. |
