In a short time I think it will be very easy to compare the Falcons to the Bengals.
Talented QB who hasn't been able to get it done in the post season (Like Dalton, Ryan hasn't won a playoff game and hasn't thrown for more than 200 yds in any of them so far) Good running game Gamechanging WR Solid OL Good to great defense with some top notch corners and a good safety Solid special teams play |

The Falcons have 2 AJ Greens, a HOF TE, a qb who was drafted #1 and has much more physical talent than Dalton...
There is no comparison other than both teams haven't won playoff games. |

You really want to compare Roddy to AJ? At best I would've compared Roddy to Chad. Dalton can get everything done out there that Ryan can and Gresham could put up the numbers Tony G puts up if he gets more consistent. And yes neither has won a playoff game. |

Our running game was pretty bad most of the year then BJGE had a few good games and hit 1000 yards and people though he was great. 1000 yards rushing in a 16 game season isn't that hard for a starting back.

Keep in mind I never said ATL is better than Cinci or that we should compare them yet. I simply stated that there are a lot of similarities that will make them very comparable in the near future.

You're crazy. The falcons are loaded with offensive weapons. The bengals have one.
Hopefully the bengals use their first three or four draft picks this year on the offense because they really need an influx of talent on that side of the ball. Especially at WR and RB, along with O-Line help |

Ryan is way better than Dalton. No comparison. And you compare Gresham to a HOF TE. Gresham had 7 yards receiving in a playoff game he was showcased in. And I'm no even touching safety yet. Nelson is slightly above average. |

The only similarity is lack of playoff success.

I agree the teams are similar. I think Cinci has been building their team very similarly to how Atlanta has.
We do need a safety, middle linebacker, another tight end option, another WR (2 or 3) & another option at RB. We're close though. I'd rather be in the playoffs 2 years in a row looking to add finishing pieces that can take us through rather than be complaining that we've only won 2-5 games and there's no hope for the future. Despite the losses to Houston, it's a great time to be a Bengals fan. WHO DEY! PS: I hope Gruden gets a HC job somewhere!

If anything is learned from watching these playoff teams, it is that the bengals talent level on offense is severely lacking compared to other top teams.

I NEVER said Gresham has a career even close to Tony. I did say if he would stay consistent he could put up the numbers Tony does.

He made a nice catch down on the goal line in the first half. His second catch of the season.
