Here it is boys and girls read all about it, here is the petition of all petitions. We the people have started a petition to get the federal government to fund and start building the worlds first working DeLorean Time Machine. only 25,000 signatures are required to get president obama to react to this, so lets get this ball rolling!!!!

I would have signed this if it was to build a deathstar as you hinted at in the title..

but sending a Delorean back in time.. Thats just stupid.

I can sign no more petitions. Seriously....I've done like 20 of these things since they started it up. None of them have even come close to working. I feel that it is pretty futile.

The make the WBC a hate group one had almost a million signatures on it.....still, nothing will happen.

Time machines are stupid... You cant trust anyone you send not to mess it up... Unless you believe that no matter what happens that reality will split off into a parrellel universe. Then you cant get home anyways you'll have to slide home..

where as a Death Star. Well We might get one now that disney owns Star Wars. It can blow up a planet. or a Gaint Astroid that might collide with earth making much more useful.

Time travel theory is always kind of cool to think about. We often wonder if time travel could change history, let us win the lottery and such. On a more morbid note, could a person go back in time and change things so they would cease to exist?
Let’s start with the movie, Back to the Future. The protagonist is sent back in time where he meets his parents before they became a couple. His interference starts to draw them apart. The further he draws them apart, the more he starts to fade away (cease to exist). There is a flaw in this story.

Introducing a time travel concept called the Grandfather Theory. A man decides to go back in time to ensure he would never exist. He travels to the past and kills his grandfather before his grandfather could have children. Grandfather Theory states this would not work because if the time traveler succeeded he would indeed cease to exist. However due to his lack of existence he would never be able to go back in time to kill his grandfather to start with. Thus he would continue to exist.
