2nd straight year there has been a price drop for seats.. I think its a good move to try and keep the stadium full. Surprises me as well that they dropped the prices again in certain areas. Good move on them.. Thoughts?

When Green Bay comes to town, are we going to have the same issue we had with the Cowboys? The issue being, more Packers fans then Bengals fans? It seemed like there were a lot more Boys fans then Bengals when I went to the game! Hopefully lower ticket prices means more Bengals fans and less opposition fans. We need to turn PBS into a home field advantage.

I think it's interesting you-know-who thinks that ticket prices are the problem. I mean, who can suddenly afford $45 tickets when they couldn't afford $55 dollar tickets?!
Prima facie, it seems like a nice gesture, but it tells me he's missing the point. Let's see what happens with free agency and the coaching staff before I condemn him too much, though. We have a few more obstacles to overcome before I start investing in this team again, regardless of price.

Don't lower prices. If fans don't support a team that's been in the playoffs three of the last four years, screw 'em.

I would be surprised if the majority of teams didn't lower prices. With the home TV experience getting better and better coupled with the high unemployment rate and raise in taxes across the board, I could see a lot of people saying no thanks to paying big prices for tickets.

The point about taxes is an interesting one, but they affect Brown and his employees, too. I appreciate that he's making changes, but he needs to make them in the right places to up attendance.

I think they should lower beer prices while the Bengals are losing.
Anytime the Bengals trail their opponent, 1/2 priced beer! Drown your sorrows! |

Then I will be able to save my money and still see the game on TV. Good job Bengals Btw. If the Bengals prices aren't low enough for you, check out the tix forum. I have a couple of great seats at a rock bottom price.

Or we could just go somewhere in the modern world where we have no trouble selling cars rather than waste our time pandering to a bunch of people are stuck in the past and would rather ride around in their horse and buggy in hillbilly land.

They lowered ticket prices in some sections (upper level nose bleed seats) and raised them in others.
This is good news. It means all the trailer park trash who complain about tickets being too expensive will be quarantined up in the upper deck and far away from me. |

The profit will still be made elsewhere be it in concessions or merchandise.
Lowering the prices is an incentive to get people in to buy more things. This is a good move from a business perspective.

Exactly. That is a $300.00 savings for me for the season. It still won't make me happy if we don't win consistently, but it helps.

Exactly what I was trying to say. I'd rather pay more and see us win than save 20% and walk out of the stadium p!$$ed

Those seats are also always sold out.

That would be true if there was a direct connection between the two. The amount the ticket costs doesn't have an affect on the team fielded.

Good team = ticket sales Low price = ticket sales I want the former. The latter is nice, but I don't really care. If we're winning, people will pay for tickets. If we're doing both, that's fine, but I would rather see him invest in a winning product than **** up to fans by discounting bad seats.
