the Texans went from 1st seed to 3rd because of that game. It was hardly the same situation as the Ravens/Bengals game week 17 that meant nothing. Not a garbage time game. A game the Texans had to win but they let the Colts punk them and now lost out on home field advantage and their bye week.

How many head coaching gigs or interviews has Lebeau had post Bengals? The man has some serious black magic wizadry when it comes to defense, but he just wasnt cut out to be a HC, even Lebeau came to grips with that.

Everyone thinks that head coaches who win all or most of the time are some kind of genius's.
How many coaches are on a nfl coaching staff, 20? Off coord. Def. coord. etc. Head coach is supposed to over see everything. He calls the shots based on the input he gets from his coaches. Tomlin doesn't impress me. I'm sure there are a few others, but the one coach who appears to always be on top of things is Bill Belincheat. Assistants come and go and he keeps on winning.Just my 2 cents. Sent from my 10 year old laptop. |

They went from 14-0 lead to a 24-14 loss. In JN and in this forum, there would be cries to fire the head coach. In reality, it is great QB play that makes head coaches look so great. Show me a hall of fame QB and I will show you a great head coach: Elway Favre Rodgers Brady Manning Manning Brees To name a few

You stated how one play changed the outcome of the Bengals and Steelers game so this took all credit from us winning. I compared this to the superbowl play by holmes and there are millions more games where one player makes a huge play to win the game where if they hadn't made it the game would have been lost. So where exactly is there no dispute over your logic? I mean if one play changing the outcome of a game discredits the winner then how is anyone going to get credit for winning?

The Bengal offense scored two field goals.. 6 points. The Steelers lost on a good defensive play by Hall. So yes it was Hall that won the game for the Bengals, without the pick 6, Bengals would have lost. Unless you are going to try and convince me that 6 is greater than 10. ![]() Any way we are now tied for first place with a 0-0 record. |
