I would have liked to stash him on our roster but we had an extreme lack of talent other than AJ and i guess they choose healthy bodies Over past production.
I said, IF HE WAS HEALTHY ENOUGH, seems Peterson in Minnesota had no problem with it, and he carried the ball 25 times a game, compared to 4-5 times.

I like Simmons. He deserves to keep his job.

Other than Brandon Tate not being able to hold a football or his weird penchant for calling for a fair catch at the one yard line, I can safely state the special teams are by far the best part of the Cincinnati Bengals. Kevin Huber can drop punts with the accuracy of a Tiger Woods wedge shot and Josh Brown is among the most solid kickers I've ever seen. The punt coverage team is unbelievable too. Please oh please keep Darrin Simmons!

Why would you even joke about that?

It's much funnier to be completely serious when making fun of people in wheelchairs

I actually did think about that, but I'd be out in two seconds when I got hit, so it would be kind of pointless because then I'd have to roll to the side, which I guess could still work if someone walked crouched down behind me til I got to the side, but that still only adds a few seconds.

I guess I could lean to either side if it's coming at the outside of my body or lift my legs if it's at my feet, but I'd be kind of screwed if someone threw a ball dead-center at my chest.

Anyways, back to this: punt returns are crucial and we need a guy that wobn't keep putting a guy like Tate back there that keeps doing things that can lose games for us.

Everybody calls for Marvin's head because he doesn't make adjustments or doesn't force coordinators to start other players (remember John Thorton?), but then Simmons keeps playing a guy that can cost us games and it's ok?

this^^^ is almost true. I am fuming everytime tate touches the ball. his fumble he had against i think houston...as the ball was in the air on its way to him i told my friends watch hes gonna give it up...sure enough. Tate needs to kick rocks.
Simmons is still a G in my book tho.
