RB: Reggie Bush (MIA), Shonn Greene (NYJ), Felix Jones (DAL), Rashard Mendenhall
There is more but these guys I picked that would be a good sign. I didn't list the one's that I thought wouldn't come here or really wouldn't work out here or just wasn't worth getting WR: Greg Jennings (G , Dwayne Bowe (KC)There Didn't really see any defense as of now. I believe more will be listed soon. Our defense had some bad points this season. We really need to get a few more offensive players to spread it out more and need more weapons. ![]()

I don't mind the FA threads, but there is currently a section dedicated entirely to FAs

Anyway, I like Bush and Jennings, I think they would be great additions to this offense. Greene, Jones, and Mendenhump we should stay away from.

He's played in 131 out of 144 games, that's made of glass?

I didn't say pick him up, I just don't agree he's made of glass.

I had him as my fantasy back for the last two seasons, and the dude never practiced, always had some kind of leg injury. At this point of his career he is almost broken down and would be more of a liability in any backfield as a premier back. Pead will be carrying most of the workload for St Louis next season and Jackson would be a short yardage situation compliment.

Reggie bush is the type of back they need but you can WR those guys in the draft why spend the money it's gonna take for bush.
Everyone clambers about the Ivory kid in N.O. Well they won't be hard to find just find one with that second gear trough the hole.

Agreed. Get a RB in the draft.
Would love to get Jennings or Bowe though...

Your post made me think... Why are RB's falling so far in the drafts (recent years) when FA running backs are breaking down and not as valuable? Simple supply and demand should dictate higher values for rookies when the FA market stinks.
I guess the thought is that making the holes is a lot harder than running through them- hence the value of O-linemen... I think the pendulum may start swinging back a little on this topic. It'll be interesting to see how many RB's go in the first three rounds. |

Honestly, I'd prefer fresh legs. Draft 2 of them, if not 3 to have one on the practice squad.

Bowe may not be that expensive either. He will likely be the best WR to hit the market when it finally gets here though. Although, I would still like to land Wallace too.

You do realize how old Jackson is right? Mendenhall is available because he does not know how to be part of a team and was benched by Tomlin. Bowe is going to be looking to be a #1 somewhere and paid accordingly. Jennings cannot stay healthy.

I totally agree with the two of you ^ ^ ^
![]() That's almost not a bad idea. It seems like every year a stud RB comes from somewhere late in the draft. If we took one with our first 2nd round pick and then two more in say rounds 6 & 7, we might have a real chance at getting a couple really good RBs that could anchor our team for a few years at that position. |

Why even worry about it.... Does cincinnati ever pick up major free agents, hell we let our own go.We do it the patriot way around here remember. I am sure we will spend our cap money picking up the best prior first round mediocre talent other teams release! Reggie Bush....lol come on guys I am sure you can go back every year since this board started and you will see the same thread topic with no results.

Re: Possible Pick Ups In Free Agency
No you said we let our own major talent leave. I am just asking you to back your statement with fact without using JJ as one of your players. I mean if you make the statement I would think you would have a debate to back it up right?
