bengals Randy Moss?

I think we are set with Sanu as the #2 from what i seen in those couple games, But some say we need to draft a WR...I think we have to many other needs we could fill before WR so maybe we could hit free agency & get Randy Moss for a cheap price. Dalton likes to throw the deep ball, so who would defenses cover in a 4 wide receiver set...1# AJ, #2 Sanu, #3 Jones, #4 Moss..or 5 WR set..#5 Hawkins or Whalen..I wouldn't mind signing him at a cheap price..At least bring him in for a tryout and see what he can bring to the table...He's also one of Aj's idols and he would be the best mentor to learn from about the game..Moss did it best.....Only downside, Moss will be 36, but he does have speed still.

This is a serious topic.

I'd rather bring Chad back so he can finish his career in a better way. He might actually be humbled.

He won't be. The Pats had him ride the bench, then cut him, the Dolphins cut him, he knows the Ocho is what did him in.

Love Randy Moss. Fun guy to watch growing up. But I think his time is up after this year. Especially with the probability of the 49ers making/winning the Super Bowl.

This idea a serious reason for me to put a gun in my mouth, finger on the trigger, and just hope that my Parkinson's Disease kicks in real hard.

He'll be, what, 36(?) next year? He's not good enough anymore to risk bringing him in and slowing the development of our young receivers. Plus, he has quite a few drops and has said that he doesn't always give 100% and is not as good when he's not motivated, so what makes anyone think that he'd be motivated here.

(I apologize if I offend anyone that has Parkinson's Disease because it's not a funny disease, but I couldn't think of a better way to personify how horrible this idea is.)

Bad idea! Moss is too old and Chad is not a good option either. Either wide receiver would be taking a step backwards on improving this offense. We can fill whatever needs we have with the draft. Plus, we don't need attitudes and second chance players anymore. We are proof - that stuff just doesn't work! In addition, Marvin doesn't deal well with attitudes and egotistical players like Belichick does. I think they walk all over him which is bad for this team.

I know, maybe even Jerry Rice or Fred Biletnikoff as well.

Gayle Sayers could be RB too.

I dunno, Jerry Rice supposedly keeps in pretty good shape. He could probably still put up a 1,000 yard season.

Sanu is not a #2. Can we accept that as a fact? He had 154 receiving yards in 9 games.

Love me some Randy Moss, IMO most talented receiver in NFL history, just didn't always play his hardest. Definitely made me laugh more than any player in NFL history.

Reporter: Randy how do you feel about that fine from sunday?
Randy: Whats 10 grand? I mean whats 10 grand tah me?

Whats funny is Randy's best route is 9 route, and Dalton's biggest defeciency is throwing the deep ball. Sounds like a match made in heaven

We don't need another receiver. We have Lavasier Tuinei and he's 6'5. We need to get a better runner behind or in front of Green Ellis.

We definitely need another WR (I'd move Sanu to the slot), but Moss will be 36 next year.

Can we aim a little higher? He'll probably retire for good after the SB anyway.

We are a year late on that signing.
Just think what he and AJ could have done this year?

Moss was the king of the go route. Andy isn't very good throwing deep.
Now that he's older he doesn't fight for contested catches, and he takes plays off.

No to having him here.

Yes he did, but that is not all there is to his game now.
Him on the field would be a threat that the Bengals did not have this year.
Unless you call our sure handed Gresham,Sanu and Jones a threat?
