Yeah i was thinking the same thing too, I don't think Zimmer's really good with TV interviews or interviews in general. But that stuff doesn't really matter, its the work you do and how you perform your job.

I was much more worried about the Bengals retaining Coach Zimmer over Gruden. Zimmer would be much harder to replace, and after losing Sanu our offense went stagnant and Coach Gruden didn't have any answers.

So keeping my fingers crossed and praying Zimmer stays.

Every place he has interviewed with has Hired a HC now...

Zimmer is staying put. (unless jacksonville wants to talk to him or the eagles but both are looking for Offensive minded Coaches)

Now Hue is getting a lot of Attention and If Gruden lands a Job we might lose our backup OC too....

Which will make it interesting to see who replaces him.

Additionally Lovie Smith is still out of a Job I wonder if we lose hue if he would take a spot on the Defensive coaching staff so we can move zimmer up next year with his replacement already in tow (very wishful thinking i know)

Absolutely the best thing that could have happened for this team, personally I believe all the recent success of the Bengals can be attributed directly to Zimmer, the job he has done with the defense despite the poor management and coaching all around him is nothing short of outstanding.

Actuay it would be attributed directly to one of the guys you are attempting to bash. .....Marvin Lewis who is the sole reason that Zimmer is here. See Zim has a great deal of respect for Marvin.

We need someone to protect us against losing Zimmer. That's why losing Coyle hurt..... And why adding Hue last offseason was smart.

Mike Zimmer is 56 years old. He just seems like a career coordinator.

It's awesome for us, not so good for him.

Lovie was a DC for St. Louis under Martz. I do believe he was a DC for Dungy in Tampa before that.

Regardless of who may be responsible for Zimmer being here he is the sole reason for the teams success, take away any other coach and the effects would be minimal, take away Zimmer and the effects would be devastating.

If Marvin is responsible for being here then kudos to him, doesn't make up for the fact that Marvin isn't a very good head coach
