Agree, I think that the National Championship game highlighted his strengths and weaknesses very well...

Te'o is exactly who I thought he was and he confirmed it in the National Championship game and now with this revelation.

ESPN is now reporting that he was a "willing participant" in the "hoax" for the sole purpose to generate recognition. Even Brian Bosworth never scooped this low.

This whole incident will have ZERO effect on his draft status.

However, his game tape will. After watching the Alabama game scouts and GMs will disect this guy more than ever. If he falls in the draft, it's because of his ability, not this crap.

It will have an affect on his draft stock if he gets hammered during interviews and keeps his silly "I'm a victim" routine going instead of fessing up and being real with GMs.

Why is it so hard to believe he was duped? I don't know what happened, but it isn't like the guy's story is far fetched.

I am not saying he didn't know, but I will wait until I make my final judgement. Even if he knew, big deal. He did it for publicity. At least he wasn't an accomplice to murder like another MLB I know.

I don't want him in the first, but anything after that is value imo.
