So every Mike out of college will follow Rey's path? Rey ****** at Mike because he ***** that's it. Burfict is a totaly different person. How can you compare them they are two different people. I'm just saying Burfict may do better in the position he has played his whole life. Pretty simple really.

LMAO .......do you think it was planned for him to play WLB? He would have never sniffed the position had Howard not been injured. In fact, if not for the Howard injury I feel safe saying we would have already seen Burfict playing his intended position ....MLB.

Burfitct has earned a shot, if the coaches think his skill set will translate. I have no complaints about keeping him where he is, but with his instincts, hustle and heart, it seems to me like he could do a very good job in the middle. I would actually like to see us get a serious pass rush threat at LB through the draft or free agency to team up with our DL (and please bring back MJ).
We should let Mags go, unless he is willing to come back as a back up, I would still take him over Skuta, but he is not good enough to be a starting MLB. We get burned to often in instances when the MLB should be making the play last year. For our defense to get to the next level, we need to bring in at least one high level saftey and linebacker and either we need a new guy in the middle or on the edge if we move Burfict over to his natural position.

Dude what the hell are you talking about. No one in the world except you would get that from what i wrote. I am seriouslly trying to figure out how I can make a statement about how good Burfict might be at his natural position, never even mentioned Rey or try to relate him to Burfict and you come up with that. I stated Burfict is his own man he will take his own path not someone elses.

I voted for Rey. Burfict is just too good to move from the WLB spot. I don't think Rey is a bad player. He and Tez got chemistry so I'd want to keep both where they are. Another year of continuity for both could mean great things for both of them.

Rey needs to lose weight and gain speed to cover a te.
Mays has a nice skill set to be an olb in the pass happy NFL. |

I doubt Rey would even vote for Rey. He seems to know he is a horrible MLB.

Stick with Rey one more year, and tell him it's his last chance.

I dont think its that easy. Its a matter of speed but there is also technique anticipation, and body placement. Look at our very own Leon Hall.....if it were solely speed Leon would be an average CB at best because hes not blazing fast. But when you look at Leon his cover ability is amazing. He had a GREAT year this year and I dont really remember him getting burned deep once. Thats because he knows how to guard fast guys. Rey on the other hand has been told his whole career to attack. He has no technique in guarding NFL TEs. He cant tackle, hes not strong, and mentally he seems to always be in the wrong place. I think Rey needs to have as much pressure taken off of him as possible. Hed be best as a rusher in blitzing packages. My boy got embarrased against Daniels and I dont want to see that again.
