Getting Ogletree, Bernard, and Rambo alone would make this a good draft if it happened. Mellette would need some time to develop, but could be very good if he does.

I'm sure Kelce wouldn't start on this team. I like the rest.

Kelce doesn't have to start right away, but he's better than Quinn who never saw the field last yr.

Have you watched Kelce? He is one of the best TEs in the draft.

He won't be there in the 4th, will he? He could go as high as the 2nd.

I think he only started for 1 year...so you never know. He looks fast (for his size) I want to see that.

Plus he played at UC.... their players (not named Pead) tend to slide a bit.

I have watched a ton of him over the years. I'm a season ticket holder at Nippert but he won't start on this team because he can't do anything much better than the guy playing in Hawaii in a couple weeks representing the Bengals. Why waste a fourth when we have bigger fish to fry. Everyone wanted to upgrade Kelly now we have a player going to the probowl the last two years now I guess its time to replace him as well.

I also hope we add a veteran receiver (Hartline or Amendola) and veteran RB (Bush or Woodhead) via free agency.

Can't complain about any early picks; Poyer would be interesting. Prefer a blocking TE and I'm a big Bearcat fan; just think we're maxed on receiving TEs with Gresh and Charles. Live Rambo in 3 and why not Matthieu if you get him in 6. If he messed up you dump him and you're out nothing. Would like some oline depth tho.

Wouldn't we be better served to improve talent on the offensive side of the ball?

So far that seems to be the big question. This does appear to be a very deep draft defensively though; time (and FA) will tell if we need to stick to O early or land potential impact defenders in 1 and 2.

I could see a WR in 1 but if Poyer is there at our second #2 we would be idiotic to pass up on him. He will be one of the top corners and the best fit for us once the draft arrives but has a few red flags that will make him slide.

Age. Lack of elite talent (1st rounders). Many, many more "band aids". Brilliant DC that makes the defense appear greater than it is. Etc.
