What do you think fellas? The diminutive Sanders is lethal in the return game and really a threat to go to the house anytime he touches the ball. the issue for me is 'do we need two WR's under 5'8"?' I guess Sanders makes Tate a no-brainer roster casualty.

Good lord is this guy shifty. The punt return v. Mizzou is just silly.

He reminds me of Dexter McCluster coming out of Ole Miss. I like him as a punt returner but I dont think he adds much as far as a WR goes.

If we are going to draft a return man who may help us somewhere else I'd rather get Ace than Mathieu. I think Ace could be used in some gadget plays and then be a full time returner.

And cut Hawkins? Unless Gruden goes, I dont think Hawkins will either. Having two WR's under 5'8 is kind of unheard of.

Yep Id cut Hawkins for the simple fact Ace does much the same, but can return as well. I think Sanu will get a lot of work in the slot with Jones on the outside going forward. I Hawkins usage will be down and could be replaced by Ace.

I don't disagree with you, I just think Gruden will. He loves Hawkins even if he doesn't know how to use him or pretty much anyone besides AJ correctly.

I'd have a hard time cutting Hawk. He's a damned good football player that deserves a spot and he can contribute. I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around where Sanders get's drafted...I bet mid to late second round.

That would be a tough one but I think Ace Sanders would be better because he is faster and would be a great return man. Get rid of Ben Tate for sure and Hawkins would be a decision made during training camp.

I know it sounds nuts, but has any team in the NFL ever tried to use two shifty slot guys in a regular package? Closest thing I have is the Saints using Sproles and Moore in tandem. None of the run and shoot teams come to mind. Think of some of the bunch formation combos with Hawkins, Sanders, Sanu, and isolating AJ on the back side. How do you defend that? Seems like teams would have to play more dime, allowing the running game to go.

I think he's a no-brained in the 4th...could see some roster rich team (NE) taking him in two just to have a ringer as the return man.

He is a good player for the later rounds.

Re: Ace Sanders Declares...
I vote we pick this guy up. Then we could draft Barner, Denard Robinson, Pick up Reggie Bush in the offseason and we could run an Oregon style offense. I would love to see something like that happen! They are so fun to watch.
