I disagree with a lot of their ratings for players. They have Lacy as a 3rd rounder for instance. Their simulator would be much more useful if they allowed you to tweak the player rankings. As it stands now it make marginal sense.

I'd take Elam over any of those guys.

But this mock is pretty ridiculous. Our first three picks are all defense. It's more likely to be the exact opposite. We will go offense.

Elam is a late 2nd or 3rd rounder. Not saying I don't want him, but Ansah or Okafor would be a better pick at that spot. If Elam isn't there in the 3rd, then grab Lester, who I like better than Elam.

I would put Nelson at SS, and have Lester or Elam take over FS. Even with resigning MJ, DE is not something to pass up on. Geathers could be upgraded, Moch hasn't been healthy and Dunlap has been very inconsistent.

Okafor or Ansah would be a nice addition to the DE position because they both play with a high motor. Lester and Elam would be nice additions as well but I think 1 or both will be there in the 3rd.

I'm just not seeing a highly ranked defense getting such priority over an offense which not only was MUCH lower ranked, but also completely stalled at the end of the season.

The offense was painful to watch. Horrid. Embarrassing. On National TV.

Now lets go add talent to our defense! Absolutely no way this happens. (Unless Mike Brown spends major $$$ in offensive FA. See? That's what I said. No way.)

I'm honestly not sure where to start fixing the offense, but my gut tells me that the O-Line needs juice. I would have a hard time passing on Chance Warmack if he's really still on the board at 21.

Has anyone heard the status of Travelle Wharton's rehab? Any tweets or rumors?

Man this is a tough one because I really like the players taken with the team first three picks. I just have a problem not giving Gruden's side of the ball. I think we can all agree the offense was the death of this teams playoff hopes. Not saying I would spend all three choices on offense but at least one of the first three needs to be a player that will help the bengals score more points!

Don't worry. At least two of the first three picks will be offense. Probably the first two, and possibly the first three.

The value of Defense is much higher in the early rounds for us. The positions of need on offense can all be filled after the first or second round. What is our weakness on offense? RB, Center, and wr. RB can and should be filled in the second at the earliest. Center can be fixed after the first or in FA.No WR taken after the first will be immediately better than either sanu or jones this year so it wouldnt make sense to take one high unless a high value one falls.

Our weakness on defense? Top safetys need to be taken in the 1st or early second. Same with starting caliber LB's.

Our guards are fine an we should definitely NOT take one in the first. Do you really think Mike brown will pay TOP money for 2 top guards after their rookie contracts end 2 year in a row? not a chance.

I see so a great defense cant win SB's like Baltimore did.I also want to know why you wouldnt take 3 defensive players we need over offense.The offensive side we need OL and rb so would you reach for someone or take a position we need/.l

You'd absolutely have to sign a solid vet WR for me to agree with that draft, even with it landing good value at each pick. I could handle the RB and even the OL pick, but I'm thinking that no matter what Marvin and Co. would go offense with that 3rd selection unless they lost their vet CBs and didn't sign one.
