What are the Bengals going to do with Rey Maualuga?

I don't see the logic behind bringing Howard back as a starter. He tore up his knee and he's getting to the wrong side of 30.

If I had my way about it, we would be starting 2 rookie LBs next year.

For his price, I'd like him as a 4th LB. We always need depth there.

Here's a guy that could possibly be signed for a reasonable price because he missed much of this last year: Daryl Smith.

He's solid in all aspects of LB play including coverage. He won't get you 10 sacks a year, but he will get a few. He's a pretty sure tackler too.

To all those that think Rey M. Is a good middle line backer please please please explain why. I am tired of ppl lumping accolade on him that aren't true. He was good against the run on what planet in what altèrnate universe? Tackled well I guess lowering your head with no form is condidered good tackling. This guy blows and it doesn't matter that you bought his jersey and it if you like his hair he is not a good linebacker.

I really don't think there are that many folks still backing Rey. I mean I saw a couple years ago that he was terrible, but that's because I am a clairvoyant (see Carson). There may be 1 or 2 out there that haven't seen it yet; but most Rey supporters have gone silent.

All I can say is Mike Zimmer kept him as the starting MLB and he was made a captain. So, I guess you are calling Zimmer an idiot.

The Texans game plan was to attack our weakness which was him. If we had a better MLB we might have won.

I just want to point out that as a rookie at OLB...Rey was Burfict. Fans wanted him moved to MLB to replace Jones.

how do you rate Willis from SF and Hawk from GB.. do you rate them as good linebackers?? most do... well Rey is rated 19th overall in tackles and ahead of both of them this year....
