The Ravens not only had to beat the Patriots but they had to beat the referees, too! New England gets away with bloody murder without being penalized; I thought the Steelers got away with crap but the Patriots get away with even more.

Last night I saw the Patriots offensive linemen commit chop blocks, blocks in the back, many instances of blatant holding including one instance of taking a Raven linebacker to the ground, two uncalled false starts, and one instance of a guy jumping offside without the line judge even moving his hand to pull a flag. On defense I saw Kyle Arrington "fall" when defending Torrey Smith on a deep pass route, causing Smith to fall, and no flag was thrown. Look, I know there are times where a receiver and defensive back get tangled up but New England does that a lot -- and I am convinced that cheatin' Bill Belichick teaches his secondary to do this.

I thought the same thing when I saw that slide. I'm not even sure if a rule exists for that but Brady has made up enough rules this should be one more.

That move would have resulted in an ejection in baseball.

There are rules for the NFL, a separate set for the Patriots in general, and another set altogether to protect Tom Brady.
