And nobody who watched his team last year could think anything on the defensive side of the ball is the biggest weakness. Perhaps you didn't notice our offfense's total inability to score. WR is our biggest need and it is likely that WR will be the best player available when we select.

Unless your LB or safety you want are able to light up the scoreboard, they aren't our biggest need. Unless you think losing games 17-10 instead o 19-10 really matters.

i guess we have 2 starting lb's if you want to resign an old lb who came off a major injury we're still one starter short there, and you must have missed the games sanu played in when the offense was clicking, there is no way they use a first rounder on a reciever, and you're assuming on free agency pick ups, do you know what happens when you assume you make an *** out of u

we went 10-6 we won most of those games 17-10

Sanu had something like 16 catches all year for a grand total of about 150 yards. That's a decent two week stretch for a starting WR. Not for an entire season.

I'm not assuming any fee agents. If we don't sign anyone, WR is still a much bigger need. We have guys who can be starting LBs. We don't have any starting WRs.

We'll sign free agents...just not stars. MB does shell out money for WRs sometimes. We may add a Mike Wallace.

I'm strongly advocating the Bengals drafting a WR with the Raiders pick.

I think White helps and hurts Jones. It cuts down his total catches but helps him get more yards per catch.

Everyone wants to trade down...but Cleveland destroyed their franchise by not taking him.

The pass protection and run blocking is the toughest to fix because its not like 1 guy is just horrible. Sorry...we had these issues all year even before Cook returned.

You act as if we have to choose between the two. That makes no sense.

Reminds me of the people who said it would be stupid to draft AJ Green because we didn't have a QB to throw him the ball. As if people were assuming we would go through AJ's entire career here without ever getting a QB.

Also, people are hypocrites on this board if they believe that. The same people who are saying a WR can't make a difference until we fix the O-Line are some of the same people claiming that the injury to Sanu hurt our offense. If the injury to Sanu hurt our offense, then it proves that a WR can make a difference.

IF we decide that we need to add a WR to our arsenal, then I'd like us to go after a WR in free agency. I don't think it would be smart to use a draft pick on a WR. I don't want to have to wait 2-3 years for the draft pick to emerge........lets get a proven WR through free agency. I'd also like to use free agency for a bad *** Safety (Bryd Please).

Use the draft for development safety, RB, DE, CB....................etc.

After watching the games this Sunday the bengals have a long way to go offensively I believe Dalton has a a long way to go AJ would be even better with an elite quarterback. The defense and AJ bailed Dalton out a lot of the time he just does not have the arm. Jones has Ryan and the Ravens have Flacko. All the teams in the final four have that fastball that Dalton does not have. So it is hard to compare AJ with other receivers.

Face it, by looking at these final 4 teams, you can clearly see that the Bengals are not equipped with the talent yet. We've been watching some very strong and balanced teams.

Yes, AJ NEEDS another receiver of which you could possibly label a starter. Look at the Ravens. Look at San Fran. Unless you have a Tom Brady or Petyon Manning, you need, not just one great receiver.

Bengals need to draft a receiver and a running back; not to mention a guard, a safety, and a linebacker. .. close, but no playoff win cigar yet.

AJ Green has put up better numbers then Julio......AJ Green has done it by himself. He doesnt have a legit #2 WR across the field. If AJ had a legit #2 threat, I couldnt even imagine what he could do.

AJ and Julio were definitely the top 2 WR in their respective draft class. No doubt. I have a strong belief that the Bengals will go out and address the #2 WR position via draft or free agency.

They both make some pretty freakish plays. They will both be great WR in this league for a long time barring injuries. I am glad we got AJ though.
