Valentine's Day

What plans or things do you have planned for your significant other on the big day. I'm not sure what to do myself, I guess I'll see how the next 2 weeks or so pan out.

If The hobbit is still in theathers im finally going to go see it.

If not Ill take the wife to dinner

followed by a romatic night of her watching me play Aliens: Colonial Marines.

I do not celebrate most hallmark holidays.

I rented a live tiger. I plan on riding this tiger to pick up my girl. I'll be wearing a Loin Cloth and a wife beater that I drew a heart on. Once I pick her up we will be going to the local video rental store to get Robocop and Schindler's List. I will then swing by the liquor store to get some Mad Dog 20/20. Then we will make babies.

V Day was my wedding day, and also my (then) wife's birthday. Uh .... yeah, I think it's funny/stupid too. Now divorced my girlfriend(s) seem to get younger as I get older. I think I'll get my current one a pony.

Seeing that there is a ton of stress in the relationship right now, I'm expecting a letter from her attorney around that time.

I'll buy Valentine's stuff for my daughters, but not for the ewok with whom I live.

Let me get this straight...Dawn leaves you because things arent good, gets some strange for a while, decides she doesn't want he strange any longer, comes back to you, things are going well for the month, and you decide to take her back.

That pretty much sums it up right?

How is Dawn different now, that when your relationship becomes difficult as all relationships do, she won't need to leave to get some strange? Is this mabey how you two are gooing to deal with issues in the relationship? Tough times for the last week, I didn't like how RC dissagreed with what I thought we should do with the tax return money, I need a little strange to clear my head.

I would not tell you to never consider taking her back. I don't know enough about what happened.

But I will say that Valentines Day is too soon. It might eventually be the right thing to do, but you haven't had enough time to know for sure yet.

RC, do what makes you happy. However, keep in mind what she has been like for the last few months or the last year, not just the last week or so.

Follow your heart, but at the same time try to keep your head in the game. I tend to agree with Fred and SCS (did I really just say that?) . I think I would spare no expense to make it the most awesome Valentine's day ever, but stop short of walking the plank again this soon. Now, it's easy for me and others to say that, but in reality so very hard to do, I've got a couple problems of my own to deal with, and I'm relatively sure I will screw that up! Meanwhile, back to you, and I wish nothing but the best for you whatever happens; best of luck, my friend!
