Hmmnnn... let me get this straight... "he" is a Bengals fan and you're a Ravens fan. Your teams are divisional rivals. So, tell me why he shouldn't root against the Ravens everytime?

Just wondering 'cuz, I root for any team playing the Texans.

Just sayin'...

It also shows that the other team was a legitimate underdog.

It happens sometimes that one team is not the better team on paper...or on the field.

And sometimes they win anyway.

How'd that turn out for Brady and the Pats?

If you pick against a team because you think the other team will win, no matter how many times you do it, it's not hating. I thought Denver and NE would beat Baltimore. I don't think that was some sort of outre leap in logic due to unrestrained emotions. On the other hand, I thought Baltimore would beat Pittsburgh when Pittsburgh had Charlie Batch.

You probably thought Pittsburgh would beat the bengals too.

Yes I did. That game was so ugly it didn't even feel that good when they won.

Probably because you might have felt that it gave you a preview of what the Bengals were going to do in the playoffs - not score a single offensive TD.
