It also shows that the other team was a legitimate underdog.

It happens sometimes that one team is not the better team on paper...or on the field.

And sometimes they win anyway.

If you pick against a team because you think the other team will win, no matter how many times you do it, it's not hating. I thought Denver and NE would beat Baltimore. I don't think that was some sort of outre leap in logic due to unrestrained emotions. On the other hand, I thought Baltimore would beat Pittsburgh when Pittsburgh had Charlie Batch.
