How Many Other Bengal Fans Still Don't Like the 49ers?

Yes, its been many many years ago and a different organization, but who other than myself still holds a grudge that we lost to the 49er's in the only two Super Bowls we went to and hope they lose in two weeks, making it the first time they've lost a Super Bowl?

They're 5-0, I hope they lose with 30 seconds left in the game and see how it feels!

Honestly being a fan in the 2000's I'd rather they beat the Patriots if they are in it. Not sure I would want to see the Ravens win it either. 49ers were really bad when I started watching NFL so I'm not used to a dominant SF team.

To this day I still cringe when I hear the name Joe Montana. I'm haunted to this day by the spector of a Ray Wersching squib kick, or Pete Johnson getting stuffed short of the goal line. Ugh. How can you not hate a team that you twice witnessed crush your dream of a championship, once with just :34 left?

It has never left me and I doubt it ever will. Unless, we win a SB. That would go a long way toward excercising that demon.

After the 1982 and 1989 Super Bowls, I have a loathing for anything related to San Francisco. In fact, I despise the 49ers so much that I actually want the Ravens to beat them. For me this takes a lot because I really can't stand Baltimore.

In my mind, could there be a worse Superbowl match-up than the 49ers who beat us twice in Superbowls XVI & XXIII, and our division rival Ravens? It would only be worse if it were the Steelers, but the VERY WORST.........Cleveland Browns!!! What a nightmare!!! Who cares who wins now.

Well, while I hate the 49ers for beating the Bengals in two close games in Super Bowls XVI and XXIII, I do enjoy watching them play this season.

I'm really hoping that the Bengals coaches take heed, and make the necessary corrections to the team, in order to hand SF their first ever Super Bowl loss.

Meh, I don't really hate them. Heck, I've never been alive to witness the Bengals win a playoff game (let that sink it, and I'm 21).

So honestly, the team I hate the most is the Steelers. I live in Pittsburgh, born and raised, and I'm a Bengals fan. 05 and 06 season enders continue to remain in my mind

I don't hate on SF anymore. I'm just sort of indifferent. Those teams that beat us are in the long ago past.

I sort of half rooting for SF in the SB. But that is only because I don't like BAL's Harbaugh.

I'm a Bengals fan AND 49ers fan. So, those past Super Bowls are a mixed bag for me.

Hell no, I ain't forgetting! For me, this is the hate bowl. Hate the 49ers the most, hate division rival Ravens, though I will get behind them for this one, and hate all smirky Harbaughs!! That being said, it should be a great game!

I'm watching the commercials for this years Super Bowl. Can't stand either team. Hate the 9er's because of the past Super Bowls and I strongly dislike the Ravens, being as they are in our division.

I'm torn. If the Ravens win, I win my Pick'em League. But then I'd have to live with all these Ray Ray butt sniffers at work.

If the 9ers win, the boasting by Stealer Fan subsides a little regarding their 6 titles. But I'd have to live with the fact that San Francisco is the bane of my existence as I was 15 for the first loss and 24 for the second one.

In reality, I hope it ends 3-0 (whoever), but everybody is injured and out for the 2013 season. Including both Harbaughs.

49ers crushed our dreams, but they didn't do anything dirty to us.

I couldn't care less.

I'd rather see them win than the Ravens because we're better than the Ravens, we'd have to sit through another year of just being considered their *****, and I want to see Ray lose just because I wonder how long it would take him to murder someone else.
