Ok, the mods are giving us a new forum to play with but it's kind of a trial period, there are some rules for this forum.

1) No smack whatsoever the mods were very hesitant in making this forum they thought we wouldn't be able to handle it without it becoming a new Smack forum.
2) Only fans of AFC North teams. So no Coltsfan.
3) It also can't be another version of Jungle Noise.

So all in all this forum is for intelligent talk between opposing fans of AFC North teams, about the state of the AFC North, team rosters, etc. So everyone lets have fun and prove to the mods we can be civil with each other.

Sorry to the mods if I shouldn't post a thread like this.

I like it!!! I hope we get to keep this. It would be nice to talk about the AFC North without people just smacking each other. I think we can pull this off. I might not like the other 3 teams in our division, but I still love this division and think it is the best in all of football.

Exactly, this isn't NCAA, its not like rooting for the SEC to represent if our team doesn't make it. I do not want a division rival to win the superbowl or anything else.

Oftentimes people of all the teams post relevant information in the Smack forum because there's really no good place to put it, but now there is! Keep the smack in the Smack forum, it's not so hard to do if you guys are even half as intelligent as you lay claim to. Talk about what's going on with YOUR team or what you would like to see happen. many of us engage in smack, yet sometimes it's nice to discuss the teams and players in the division minus the juvenile smack attached to it. Hey, this is a pretty darn good division, if not the best in football.

Around the NFL is def lame. No one ever pays attention to it and with this section us (Steeler fans) can post about our team because we all know Steelers boards for the most part are terrible.

Glad to see this forum pop up, it was always the missing ingredient for me whenever I would lurk here. I lurked because you pretty much couldn't have an honest civil discussion about football. Hope this works out.

As for football now, we have the somewhat unlikely run of the Ravens to the SB, but also massive leadership changes in the Browns camp and the Bengals looking at building upon an outstanding 10-6 playoff qualifying campaign. Sanu going down hurt I think, and it seems Gresham needs to begin to realize some of that ridiculous talent. The Steelers sound like they're going to undergo serious personnel changes although nothing specific yet. Anyway, pretty soon we'll all be talking about the draft, which is always fun.

AFCN is a GREAT division. You survive/win this division, you've accomplished a hell of a lot. I look forward to checking back here more regularly.

Awesome new forum. I was just on the phone with my son to be a Browns fan (obviously from his bi-polar mother's side) and he was so excited about the Browns chances this next season.

As I understand, the Browns coaching staff is laying their new plans out online, for the entire Browns fan community to see. My son thought the new plans sounded awesome, and that he thought that they would win more games next season. I said, that's great, I hope none of the opposing coaches read those new gameplans.

I was thinking that we all know sooner or later some turd is going to hijack this forum with smack talk, hoping the mod's will shut it down. I was wondering if it is possible for the mod's just to ban someone from a particular forum rather than a general ban. Might be a good thing if it's possible, because otherwise this forum probably has a shorter lifespan than a Rob Ryan pizza.
