I would go for a skills competition instead of the game.

Put them in uniform, let them jog onto the field, throw or catch a pass, pop a tackling dummy or something like that, while you introduce them.

Show a two or three minute highlight film of each player, and that means the entire roster, on TV and the big screens in the stadium. Get some of the best analysts to describe the plays and what makes that play so great.

End up with them all on the field, waving at the fans, maybe interacting with them in some way. Make it all a big love fest.

The result: viewers get to see a bunch of great football plays, made by their own players and players they don't get to see too much. Players still get the benefit of being named to the pro bowl. The NFLPA will like it better than cancellation. Fans get to see an interesting football show to fill in the dreary week waiting for the Super Bowl. Nobody is risking injury.
How about this.

Give them their bonus or double it.
And keep them in the U.S. Rotating between different NFL cities. (North, South, East, and West).
And turn it into a weekend "Fan-Fest".
Youth football clinics and flag football games, coached by the All-Stars.
Fan meet and greet.
Autograph signings.

And end it with a skills competition, that the covering network would air, so they could get theirs.

Sounds better than, sending these guys to the middle of the Pacific, to play a football game that is meaningless and unbearable to watch.
IMO.

Learn how to use shut up before you say it.

Furthermore, you're hitting on the same damn points constantly, we get it.

But its a fallacy; unless someone rips their CLs or something, you're worried for nothing.

Fine. Nobody gets injured.

Are you watching? Why?
Is PFF gonna break it down?
No. Because nobody cares.

The thread evolved, and I was giving an idea to make this weekend better for fans of the NFL.

And the phrase "shut up" only has 1 use.

You are not alone, i feel the same way. I love watching my Bengals and it is another
chance to do so. I don't understand why people complain about the Pro Bowl, it is giving
props to the best players in the league and i am happy a few of my Bengals made it.

I'm watching it.

Why? I want to see my man Whitworth represent my favourite team; a role he should've been in the last couple of years.

And no, it does not have one use.

Stop it. (<-- like that)

Picture of our boys in paradise:

Was in Hawaii from 2004-2006; yet was never on the Island when the Pro Bowl came to town

Roger Goodell needs to fix the Pro Bowl. He should put together 2 voting committee's(The All-Pro team has an actual committee instead of fan votes) one for the NFC and one for the AFC. And find a way to make the player give a damn about actually playing.
