I am all for as many weapons as we can get. I still do not understand why they have not put more effort into Hawk as a punt returner. I know he has not done it a lot but reps would get him comfortable fielding the ball. We have all seen his ability with the ball in his hands.

I think Hawk is limited as a receiver (due to height, nothing else), but I'd love to see him in a slash type role, ala Josh Cribbs.

Let him do some reverses, a couple handoffs, try him out on returns, and play some WR. Dude's got skills.

Young was just released, I think KC, Jacksonville or Miami will grab him off the waiver wire. I don't see Mike paying close to a million a year for 2 years for an WR with red flags.

6 figures would be a total bargain for a WR with his talent.

The old Mike Brown would love a move like this.

He couldn't get the ball enough with Calvin Johnson. He ain't going to get it enough here with aj. Not worth the hassle, IMHO. But he's Mikey's kinda of guy. Talented, cheap and should be humbled.
