This is an awful list for a lot of reasons ("when it comes to the numbers that indicate future success, Ryan's are simply better." ) but poor Andy Dalton ranks unlucky #13 right below Tannehill and above Freeman. Even terrible writers on NFL.com know your QB *****

The 9ers back-up is better than Dalton.

Yeah Matt Ryan is so awesome that he could definitely carry a team better than Dalton.
Er, wait - didn't the Falcons have to give up half their draft and sign a HoF tight end before Matt Ryan was able to win a playoff game? In all seriousness though - Dalton put up stats comparable to Flacco without the benefit of Ray Rice or a consistent 2nd WR or a good TE; that list is bullspit and some NFL beat-writer's excuse to **** on the Bengals (as if they needed one).

When I see Flacco on TV, he looks like he wants to cry in almost every situation.

Flacco after two years looked like a total bum. Defense propped him up long enough for him to get much better. |

Re: Best QBs under 30
1. Aaron Rodgers - Green Bay
He's got a super bowl ring, consistently makes the playoffs, and puts up great stats to boot. 2. Joe Flacco - Baltimore Ravens I like Flacco, but don't think a ton of him being a great QB, yet he's in the super bowl. I do agree defense has carried him through the years, but he's got it done to the tune of 8 playoff wins and a super bowl appearance. 3. Matt Ryan - Atlanta Falcons I think the rest of this list has 4 playoff wins combined (3 coming this season). He's got the stats, leadership, and regular season success to take the third spot plus he finally got that playoff win monkey off his back. Now they need to build off this season and win in the playoffs more consistently. 4. Colin Kaepernick - San Francisco 49ers 2 playoff wins and a super bowl appearance vaults him straight up the list. I question if he can continue being great consistently, but we'll see. Despite a strong supporting cast he single handedly carried them into the playoffs. 5. Russell Wilson - Seattle Seahawks Wow he proved everyone wrong. I knew he had the will and intangibles to be great I just didn't think he had the tools to be good. One of the best rookie seasons ever and he already garnered a playoff win. The last playoff win in this group aside from the fallen Alex Smith. 6. Andrew Luck - Indianapolis Colts Somewhat disappointing to me stat wise, but the guy is a franchise QB. Turned a bad Colts team around. I think he'll be a force to be reckoned with down the road. More confident in his continued success than Colin. 7. Cam Newton - Carolina Panthers Down sophomore campaign, but he needs some more weapons in his ariel armada. Hasn't been a winner, but has played well and raised up a Carolina offense that hadn't been strong in year. 8. Andy Dalton - Cincinnati Bengals No playoff wins, but the first back to back appearances since our super bowl year right? Has been consistent throughout his two seasons. Has made comeback victories and hopefully improves with more experience however I agree he needs help to be a winner. 9. Robert Griffin III - Washington Redskins Made the playoffs and was a very efficient QB as a rookie. One of the better rushing seasons by a QB in NFL history. Injured knee again could affect his future though. 10. Matthew Stafford - Detroit Lions Needs a stronger line, consistent running game and a good #2 WR. Has had a pretty good last two years stats wise especially in 2011. Led them to the playoffs last year. Should have done better with Johnson at his disposal, but let's blame the Madden curse lol I mean come on he caught 4 TD's who cares he almost got 2,000 yards his record was pointless because his team didn't succeed. 11. Alex Smith 12. Josh Freeman 13. Sam Bradford 14. Ryan Tannenhill 15. Christian Ponder 16. Matt Flynn 17. Jake Locker 18. Brandon Weeden - he's under 30? Ridiculous 1st round pick..... 19. Blaine Gabbert

That's definitely one of Flacco's flaws. Too vocal and he wears his emotions on his sleeve...
