We made a pretty serious run at Mike Vick. Tebow won a playoff game with a good defense in Denver.

While I don't see him coming here....I don't think it's a terrible idea either. You just HAVE to pay to Tebow's strengths like Denver did

Exactly! I know what he is doing is not a CoC violation but I think the Mods need to make him go stand in a corner for awhile and think about his behavior.

I need a YouTube video to post on here- animated or real- of me just rolling into a wall at 90 MPH every time Sham posts a thread.

If that is from last year or not, I would be rather upset if that happened, all that would do is make training camp a circus

Nothing wrong with trying to think outside the box. But that doesn't mean you can just throw the box away.

The team needs to figure out how to play to Andy's strengths before they start worrying about playing to Tebow's strengths.

That being said we would finally get the ESPN coverage that so many of our fans covet

I'm seriously starting to wonder if this is CinciREborn's alter account.

Just stirring things up and digging up old topics.

Either that or ol' Sham only gets so much computer time in the clink.

Those TRS-80s don't do so well on the interwebz.

Gruden can't figure out how to balance run vs. pass, or how to get s top 5 in the league receiver the ball in the first half of a winnable playoff game. I don't trust him to properly utilize tebow.

If I knew that the ESPN trucks wouldn't follow Tebow here, I'd be all for it.

As a backup, he'd bring a lot more to the table than Gradkowski.

About equal as a passer, much better runner, and has an infectious winning attitude.

Problem is, I'm pretty sure the circus would follow him here.

Explain...

As for Tebow, sure, whatever...if he wants to tryout for #2 WR, we are still looking for a fill-in.

Tebow can't throw, but he can motivate and get a team to play.

Signing Tebow would be the worst move that any team with hope could make. The vultures are already beginning to circle Dalton. He still has time to develop into a consistently good qb, but any and every hiccup along the way is going to cause panic in a portion of this fan base.

The Bengals do not need this distraction. Tebow's followers love him for his faith and what he stands for. It has very little to do with football. I'm not sure I can stand even a few bad games from Dalton resulting in the tebowmaniacs calling to replace him with a guy b/c he talks about church all the time.

The best place for Tebow is a team with no chance to win and no entrenched qb. He needs a chance to fail or succeed form day one as opposed to just spending a season looming over some poor struggling qb.

He has Jacksonville Jaguars written all over him. While I'm not completely opposed to him coming here I'm not for it & for your mentioned reasons.
If there wasn't for all of that I think he could make a good situational player in certain circumstances. I think he would be effective some how in goal line or short yardage

IMO tebows biggest downfall is the fact the young guy just can't go out and play the game for himself and not get blasted with exaggerated ya's or na's. I think he is overall good guy and probably a good teammate who wants to win

But like I said I don't want dalton looking over his shoulder or being blasted by some of those nerds on espn when he has a ruff game
