Default How to kill time at the Cincinnati Airport?

Whats up Bengal fans. So I'm flying to Orlando on Thursday March 14th and I have been blessed with a 4 hour layover in the Cincy Airport. I will be flying alone since I'm going with a friend who lives in New York City who's also flying alone and we are meeting down there.

I'm scheduled to arrive at 12:27 pm and depart at 4:15pm. My question is if you guys have any suggestions on how to kill those 4 hours? Anywhere in particular for a worthwhile lunch alone in the terminal, any store thats worth having a look at, maybe a nice coffee shop I need to hit up, whatever. I've never stopped through so I got no feel. I can't imagine sitting in a waiting chair for 4 hours toying with my android phone not boring me eventually.

Take the plunge man. Eat at Gold Star. When in Cincy . . .

As far as stores, I don't remember seeing anything special when I was there in November. You can buy Bengals, Reds, Bearcats, Muskies...gear cheaper online. Don't pay airport prices on merch.

I had a layover in Cincy when I took a red eye back from Vegas. Let me tell you, it's creepy to walk through an airport at 5 in the morning.

There's plenty of places to buy Bengals gear at decent prices though!

Hollywod Casino is a 15 minute cab ride away, just in case that would entertain you. As for the airport, nothing really special there at all. Sorry.

If I got Gold Star for lunch what do you order? I assume I don't just walk up there and say give me a chili do I?

I'll be sure to stock up on Cincy sports gear for sure.......actually I don't mind the Bearcats bc I've always rooted for everyone in the Big East other than them.

Northern Kentucky, whatever. The plane itinerary says Cincy.

A casino would definitely be entertaining, cept I have to stay in the airport and not go past security. Too bad there's not in the airport casino options like Vegas (or so I'm told, I've only ever been to the less desirable AC).

Be sure to get those coneys with onions and mustard. You can also get coney islands w/o cheese.
3-way is chili, spaghetti, and cheese. Add onions or beans for a 4-way or both for a 5-way.
That's it for the 'traditional' Cincinnati-style chili; the rest of the menu items have been concocted for those who have become bored with 'traditional'. Since you'll be there for almost 4hours, get one of each - you'll have time

It's in Northern Kentucky because Cincinnati wishes they were us

Probably under 15 from the airport.

If you have time, the ribs at Montgomery Inn are unreal.......... I mean just stupid good.

There's on in Fort Mitchell that's just up the street (Buttermilk) from a Skyline, so you could knock both out.

Skyline all day everyday over Gold Star.

Get yourself a Deluxe Burrito but make sure you get the bean mix in it

Don't eat for a while before you get there so you can also get some coneys. I go with mustard but no onions................... that's just me, though.

Lastly, I'd defniitely get a three way.

Put hot sauce on all three of those and make sure that you have plenty of crackers (they're incredible). You can put the crackers on the all three of those and/or just mix them with the leftover chili after you eat the burrito and it tastes amazing.

Jokingly yell "I've got a bomb!" That will probably keep you busy for awhile.

edit: Scratch that idea. That's normal in Kentucky.

So even though this thread is months old I'm sitting here now at CVG with nothing to do. Foodis the only option I suppose, I'll try three way in an hour.

Everything I think of to suggest would get you in trouble there, as humor is not allowed at the airport.. Sorry ...

The airport blows now that it is no longer a hub although the ticket prices are still those of a hub. Oh and Gold Star can't hold a candle to Skyline.
