wow bro. You basically just told me he can walk and chew gum at the same time. and what do u mean by "fast". 4.55 doesnt fall under fast in my category. Lacy is bigger faster strong and can "CATCH". no thank you on this gio kid...hes never once wowed me, and ive tried over and over again to have him prove me otherwise...not worth the hype. buzz kill. Would rather go later with Stacy, dyer, Michael, jamison, ellington(only if hes there in the third) ect...these guys can all run and catch. so i know ull like em ha

I want him in the 2nd

I think Lacy will be the first back and he will go to Atlanta

he gets caught from behind a few times in his videos...his in-game speed is no faster than his 40 indicates bud, bernard is not worth a second, there are imo MUCH better backs later. Gio is weak. however i agree that lacy willl be gone by our pick and will be the first back off the board.

We should take no RB in the 1st or 2nd rounds of the draft. The only backs that look good to me are...Andre Ellington, La'Veon Bell, & Rex Burkhead...I would sign Reggie Bush in free agency & draft Burkhead in the 5th to take Green Ellis's spot when his contract is up....While instead of using an early round pick on a RB we could use 2 picks on a center and guard to stack the line.

1.) I do not believe the Bengals will be taking a RB in the 1st. I think you will see us take one with 2A (Lacy or Bernard).

2.) Bell and Burkhead do not match up with what Gruden is looking for. He is looking for a Change of Pace back who has HomeRun speed to break one off. Bell is WAY to slow for what is needed for this offense.

3.) I dont know why, but there are way to many people thinking or hoping we get Reggie Bush in free agency.....aint gonna happen! He WILL NOT be an everydown back here.

4.) Cook is under contract and they have a backup who played well when he was in. I do not see why the Bengals would WASTE an early pick on a position that, in the Bengals eyes, does not need to be addressed. We are getting Wharton back to compete with Boling in Training Camp.

Very doubtful that happens again, even if a bit of a reach is necessary.

I'd be ok with Bernard. Look at what BJGE did when they were opening holes for him, and imagine a RB with better vision, speed and moves hitting those same holes. Although I like GE on the short stuff, we could use a RB who can give us more. I think Bernard or Lacy both could.

We have our MLB. We need an SLB.

And I prefer Vaccaro - better in coverage.

No way we take a RB in the first, none of them have a first round grade, why not wait till rd 2B or round 3......??? Hands down, I want Vaccaro, but I feel like since the safety class is so deep we will wait till 2nd round for safety which means we won't get Vaccaro.........

1. If we can't resign Smith or if we can't resign MJ, then I have no doubt whichever one we don't resign will be the position we take with our 1st round pick.

2. If we resign both Smith and MJ, then the draft is wide open, but unfortunatly I think we will still wait on safety till round 2 just because the class is so deep.

3. I think our biggest need is Linebackers; the only sure fire LB we got is Burfict; other than that we got pretty much nothing..........I could easily see Olgetree or Minter being the selection here. Much rather Safety since we don't have one, but my belief is they wait till rd 2.

From Walter Football mock draft published today, no running back is taken in the first round.

The Cincinnati Bengals take Manti Teo in the January 22nd publiched Walter Football mock.

Wrong.

Wrong.

Standard lazy misguided outing from Walter Football. Couldn't wait to mock Manti to the Bengals as soon as the story broke.

I thought the same thing. He takes shots with every pick and always tries to mock criminals to us so he can laugh about it.

Lacy isn't lasting to 55 though. Unless his combine is not stellar.
I like Lacy too, but he Bernard is more of the dual threat that we need.

Bernard reminds me a lot of Arian Foster. Extremely patient runner, quick cuts and a great receiver out of the backfield. Would not be opposed to taking him. And he can actually execute the stretch play!

since we have 2 #2's, I would actually be happy taking Bernard in Rd 1 or trading down just a bit and taking him. I think he's going to be very good

.....nope lol

but anyways..

I want joseph randle in the second round. He can catch out of the backfield, and i like his height for the simple fact that i think andy dalton has problems throwing to shorter players. He has good speed and seems to fall forward.

Not a huge fan of giovanni bernard, he doesn't seem very durable. remind you of any other break away guy we know???

I am not a huge fan of Gio but it is rather annoying when people keep calling him a blazer or fast guy but say Lacy isn't. They run darn near the same speed.

Gio isn't a burner at all. He has good speed but a burner is someone like Barner.

Obviously injury history is somewhat a concern. But it's nothing that crazy.

Completely agree, i would be very happy if we got Bernard in the 2nd.

Haven't heard from you in awhile Doc, but i would take Lacy over Bernard as well.
I think Lacy will be taken before our pick in the 2nd, we would probably have to take
him with our 1st rounder if we really wanted him.

BTW, you were dead on about Bernard Pierce last year. About Doug Martin though?

Not so much.

I don't know if we need Teo on the roster, but he'd fit right in on these boards. I wonder how many alt girlfriends the guy has.
