With those 3 positions, the top 5 propsects at each one (according to CBS Sports discluding top 10 players)

I would probably make my own rankings but for the
sake of an unbaised source, I went with a professional's analysis.

Now tell me if we were to pick 1 of these positions with our
first 3 picks, who would they be? I understand that most of you
have other ideas at drafting a different position, but bear with me.

As of right now I don't think we could do better in the draft than landing Ogletree, Lacy, and Elam with our first three picks.

2a) Eric Reid
2b) Gio Bernard (can't imagine he is still there but based on your source's rankings)


this could be the best draft in the last 5 years for us and that is really saying something

From the list. I like Greene, Elam and Randle. Just don't agree that anyone of them should be picked in the 1st round.

I am a fan of coverage LBers and Greene is probably the best in the draft. Te'o is another good coverage LBers but would bring a circus with him. Olgetree is another "potential" LBer, he has the athleticism to be great, but you never know if he will be successful.

Of the RBs, I have always like Randle. Not a fan of Lacy or Bernard. I have said repeatedly that I am not a fan of drafting a RB early when you have guys like Christine Michael, Knile Davis, and the one I really want in Marcus Lattimore that may or will be there in the 4th or 5th round. I have even said for insurance purposes to grab a combination of the 3. I would like to see Michael and Lattimore as our backs, and if both are healthy and come back to form, then our running game would be set. Teams trying to take away Green will only be in danger of giving headway to our RBs.

Safety. Elam and Lester are my two favorites. I like Lester more but he struggled in the Senior Bowl and practice, Elam is worthy of our 1st 2nd round pick. Lester would be a late 2nd or 3rd round pick.

Looking mainly at depth we need someone to complement BJGE more than challenge Sanu across from Green, but that's not saying I wouldnt be upset if we drafted a WR before a RB if that's what your saying.
