It wouldn't surprise me if Danny Ainge doesn't pull off a trade for a veteran point guard and when he does then the franchise will done for a few years as they have nothing of real value on the bench except Sullinger so he will resort to draft picks.

Celtics were done to begin with. They are just too old and don't have the right cast around Rondo.

The Eastern Conference isn't even up to par this year considering my Knicks are sitting in 2nd and they consist of Melo and the 2002 All Star Team.

as a Celtics fan this is a tough loss and I think it's time to rebuild by trading away Terry, Lee, Bass, Green and possibly KG. I believe Pierce should retire a Celtic.

Rajon Rondo's agent says guard's ACL just partially torn, but Danny Ainge cautions return to Boston Celtics this year still not happening

Rajon Rondo's agent told CSNNE the point guard has received good news about his torn ACL. Rather than a full tear, which was initially suspected, Rondo has just a partial tear.

"It's still too early to tell for sure," his agent Bill Duffy told CSNNE.com. "But we are very optimistic about his return now that we know his injury is only a partial tear and not a full tear."
