Alright, I decided to test this board out with something random. Let's try to put together the ultimate AFC North team with current rosters. After two days of each poll, we will move to a new position. Just something fun. Vote for who you think is that best at the position, and obviously certain positions you will be able to vote for more than one person. But let's start with QBs.
Which QB is the best in the division? Vote, and you can give input toward each QB and so on and so forth.

Ben Roethlisberger, and I don't even think it's all that close.
Flacco is good.....a lot better than I may give him credit for even, but not Ben level. Dalton is average so far in my opinion. He's way too inconsistent. Looks great one game, then completely horrible the next. As for Brandon Weeden....he's holding onto that #4 spot pretty solidly.

It's Roethlisberger hands down. Then Flacco, then Dalton, and then Weeden.

I'm going with Ben as well. Although, I do believe he is regressing and injury is a problem, I still pick him.
Flacco is money in the playoffs. That's just a fact. If he could play the whole season like he did in the playoffs, wow. I like Dalton, he is improving. He just needs to be consistent and continue to grow. I think another offseason is definitely going to help him, and I expect him to have a big year next year and get the Bengals their first playoff win. And I'll finally be alive to witness it. Brandon Weeden isn't bad, but he also isn't great. If he wasn't in his late 20s, I think the Browns would have a franchise QB to develop. But, he's older and doesn't have much time. That's howI see it. Ben, Flacco, Dalton, then Weeden.

I would take flacco and that hurts to say. He can be consistent with the right OC and can be elite. Roethlisberger showed me nothing this year and I believe his career is on the downside especially with all the hits he takes.

I know people are going to call me a homer, but I picked Dalton. Just because if were picking an all pro team, with all the weapons and help he would get I think he would do really well. I really should have picked Flacco probably, but hey Dalton needs at least one vote

Ben- without a doubt. Until he was injured, he was being mentioned as league MVP with Peyton Manning and Adrian Peterson. When he came back, the team injuries were piling up and Ben didn't seem to be 100%
Flacco - Average. He's great when he has all day in the pocket, not so great when he doesn't. Nothing wrong with that, with the rules favoring the passing game, average QB's can succeed with a good O-line and physical receivers that will go up and fight for the ball Dalton - Average. Right on Flacco's heels. Still young and developing. Needs some playmakers on offense. Weeden - Not sure yet. Haven't seen enough of him, but definitely last place in this "competition"

2 people voted for Dalton... Really? As a Bengals fan I can even admit he's not the best in the AFCN. Far from it.

Pretty much my take. He has a cannon for an arm, and the receivers to utilize it. Ben's fatter than me, and really didn't look good at the end of the year. Dalton's not even in the conversation yet, though I hope he gets there soon, he did show some flashes this year, but then regressed.

Yeah. It's the Ben for now. Flacco follows and Andy is the young pup that will eventually (2 years?) grow into a complete QB. I've seen Weeden twice and that's not enough.

This is too easy.....hands down Ben Roethlisberger
He has won multiple Super Bowls (2) and been to 3 AFC Championships 2x Pro Bowler He is big and hard to bring down He makes big plays He has a good, accurate arm He may have had some run ins with off the field issues, but he is the best QB in the division

![]() In answer to the question, I don't even know why this is a question: if it isn't Big Ben, it isn't a legit poll. You might as well ask who the best running back in the AFC North is or who the best wide receiver in the AFC North is - those are all questions where there shouldn't be any doubt as to the answer.

Flacco has been pretty solid since they fired that OC, has he not?

Re: Ultimate AFC North Team: QB
Make the ultimate AFC North team and you'd think Roethlisberger would have a great offensive line to support him and receivers that can catch passes. The guy has been to three Super Bowls and has two rings and he is still only 30 years old. He lost a little moxie this year, but I think it's too soon to say that he is done. Plus he still had a very solid year despite missing several games.
Now the interesting question is who is your AFC backup? Bruce Gradkowski, Tyrod Taylor, Colt McCoy, or Charlie Batch/Byron Leftwich?

This. Ben has had a better first 5 years and has a distinct clutch factor (some will say HAD) but we'll see how Flacco spends these next 5 years. He is either on the cusp of a real turning point or this is just another flash of his extreme hot and cold. He has the best arm, easily, but it really seems to be a mental block.
