As for DMC's injuries, yeah he's had some issues there, but he's not Chris Perry. Chris Perry missed 45 games in 5 years. DMC has missed 23 games in 5 years. Plus Perry couldn't sniff DMC's jock when it comes to production or talent.

![]() He was in a zone blocking scheme this year and was terrible in it.

Again, are you talking about him and The Firm in the backfield together?

Well I would use the lawfirm like NE did, as a short yardage, goal line back.

So do you want a big blocking power back with McFadden like Conners?

I'd be for it if he'd agree to a new deal for around 4 years 20 million. Otherwise, no. He's due 8 mil and is in his last year. Plus, I can't see the Raiders giving him for the 2nd rounder they just gave us. Just to save face, I don't think they make that deal.

Chris Pressley at FB. DMC getting the majority of the carries with BJGE as the complimentary back.

So, Brian Hartline had 74 receptions for 1,083 yards in 2012. Doesn't make him an all-pro, but it's a damn good season, and certainly a long way from garbage.

Please no, I mean I'd love the idea but let's be serious. He would be out after week 3 with turf toe or something. It would cost to much why not use that 2nd to pick up Gio who has the same skill set and you still get to keep your other one. It would also be much cheaper.

Could get behind this. McFadden is solid when healthy.
But prefer fresh legs on the cheap. Not because of a desire to save money for MB. Just would rather spend it elsewhere. Plus he is injury prone. But will leave that up to Hue.

The voice of reason. I don't see the hartline love either. Would love to see McFadden here, but I don't see it happening. I don't the raiders giving him up or the bengals ponying up what it might take to get/sign him.

McFadden is kind of weak. I'd much rather have Reggie Bush.

BJGE>injured McFadden
McFadden spends more time injured then running the ball so No Hell no Super hell NO And oh did I mention NO His best thing is when the gm talks to his friends he can say "I got a RB on my team making millions a year what do you got" and they respond "I got a car worst 10 grand"

Re: I'd be cool w/ giving da' Raiders their 2nd rd pick back for McFadden
Best question posed in the entire thread!

Well consider he got about a quarter of that in one game. 800~ yards in 15 games is less than impressive

7 games with less than 60 yards receiving The average rank of the defenses when over 60 yards: 21st Only 3 100+ yard games as a #1 receiver 1 TD the whole season...as a #1 target. Only 2 games with a reception longer than 40yards. I doubt he was seeing many double teams either. He'll be commanding north of 6Million I'm sure. Not really worth it to me. |

In the other 15 games he averaged 55 yards with 0 TD's. That said, I think he'd be a reliable target as a #2. As long as he doesn't get over 6 mil (I don't think he will), I'd still be cool with bringing him in. 55 yards/game is still more than Binns/Tate/Sanu/Jones averages combined.
