Well denial or not its not the first time this has come up with Ray's name attached to it.

Here's the latest story:

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/nfl...1_a2&eref=sihp

On Dec. 5, Lewis practiced for the first time. He did not play in the final regular-season games, but remained a boisterous sideline presence and joined the jubilant locker room celebration after Baltimore routed the Giants 33-14 on Dec. 23 to win the AFC North.

Lewis had not talked to media for 10 weeks while he rehabbed his injury. Asked by SI if he had worked with Key and Ross during his recovery, he initially demurred. "I didn't work with them personally this time," he said.

When pressed, Lewis said, "Nobody helped me out with the rehab. I've been doing S.W.A.T.S. for a couple years through Hue Jackson, that's it. That's my only connection to them."

Asked if he had talked to Ross the night of his injury, Lewis replied, "I told him to send me some more of the regular stuff, the S.W.A.T.S., the stickers or whatever."

And did they help?

"I think a lot of things helped me."

So yeah...no so much "No. Never."

the original article mentions other people that used SWATS products...including DREW BREES. Let me type that again....

DREW BREES

Where are the articles asking about why Brees is using a "banned substance?"

Wouldn't wanna hurt NO's feelings?! while hosting a SB.

And Once again...Where is the proof.
He say she say and everyone is guilty....Okay...got it!

Glad I live in the real world.

Drew Brees isn't at media day at the Super Bowl claiming God put him there.

But, to be clear, you at least can admit now that he did use something from these guys...you just don't want him asked about it. Besides he said he didn't.

And its in print too...not just on the internet.

Is SI considered a credible source?

Hours after he tore his triceps during an Oct. 14 home game against the Cowboys, Ravens All-Pro linebacker Ray Lewis and Ross connected on the phone. Again, Ross videotaped the call.

"It's bottom, near the elbow," Lewis said of the tear. After asking a few pseudo diagnostic questions, Ross concluded, "All right, well this is going to be simple. . . . How many pain chips you got around the house?"
"I got plenty of them," Lewis replied.
Ross prescribed a deluxe program, including holographic stickers on the right elbow; copious quantities of the powder additive; sleeping in front of a beam-ray light programmed with frequencies for tissue regeneration and pain relief; drinking negatively charged water; a 10-per-day regimen of the deer-antler pills that will "rebuild your brain via your small intestines" (and which Lewis said he hadn't been taking, then swallowed four during the conversation); and spritzes of deer-antler velvet extract (the Ultimate Spray) every two hours.
"Spray on my elbow every two hours?" Lewis asked.
"No," Ross said, "under your tongue."
Toward the end of the talk, Lewis asked Ross to "just pile me up and just send me everything you got, because I got to get back on this this week."

ok what makes this seem odd , he was accused of using this 2 years ago LIKE YOU CLAIM and just now in the conversation he is asking how to use it , something seems odd about that.

I thought you were smarter than that.......Just proved you aren't.

No one ever said Ray was very smart. He probably just misunderstood.

So are you admitting now that he did call the guy and asked for the stuff? Because I thought your entire argument is based on Ray saying, to the media, just yesterday, that he NEVER took anything from them. Yet he knew who to call and told them to send "everything you got".

I have to say I was actually rooting for the Ravens but Ray is making it very hard.

You are really stretching or really embarrassed because I found holes in a story YOU POSTED!!.

Where is the credible source or proof Ray Lewis said or took any products?? YOU DON"T HAVE ANY!!!

Good ol credible, trustworthy, straight laced man of integrity Mitch Ross???

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2011-0...t-lawsuit.html

http://www.courthousenews.com/2011/02/15/34188.htm

http://www.njeffersonnews.com/local/...flects-lawsuit

For anyone to take the word of a man like this either are so blinded by their hate for Lewis or are just beyond gullible for words. No wonder so many people do not trust the media anymore either for their bias in reporting or just plain incompetence.

And this isn't the Smack Talk Section!
You prove again that you can't come up with a halfway decent conversation outside of smack talk.
Bring something of substance or intellidgence to the conversation.

Even if you don't or CAN'T....I'm about to enjoy watching the Ravens in the SB!!

Look bmore...you asked a question that isn't there...not "found a hole".

Ray says he "never" used it. The guy said he did and has a tape of him asking for "stuff". You can't hold his past against him...its not like he lied to police during a murder investigation.

I'm not smacking...I'm posting in a thread about Ray be accused of using an illegal substance. Something you say never happened...and even if it did it didn't help.

I'm simply providing the links and the relevant quotes.

And I'm able to post with a limited amount of exclamation points...you might want to calm down or you might not make it to the big game.

You provided ONE link.
RELEVANT QUOTES??? LOL relevant quotes are from Ross?? How is he Relevant or a relevant source...LOL

FYI ........ That's not a source or credible source

Is it not irresponsible for repeating it without verifying sources? Oh that's right it makes it true. Again I'm glad the courts or legal system don't work that way.

You know, you'd think with all of the resources at hand for Sports Illustrated, someone along the line would have told them that synthetic HGH/IGF is on the NFL's banned substance list, that deer antler is a food product with just trace amounts of natural IGF that are comparable to levels found in some dairy products and that it does not do what they claim it can do. Deer antler specialists and human hormone experts and doctors have already said as much. But why let facts get in the way of a good story .... glad I outgrew that rag a long time ago.

This is BS from the word say go. Mitch Ross' release/quotes sound like an infomercial and S.I. is trying to get people to bolster their sagging readership with a completely bogus and misleading take on what deer antler is and can do.

Well, people would lie if it meant going to prison the rest of their life. Did Ray lie? He was a suspect which means he was investigated and determined to not be the killer. However, he abstructed justice for his friends by withholding information. To me, once a liar always a liar.

He admits he lied to police.

They gave him the plea bargain because the evidence for him having a knife in his hand was one witness...and Ray said he would testify against his friends.

Then he said he didn't know anything.

Or, in other words, he lied.

Just like he is about the deer spray.

Vijay Singh just admitted to using deer spray.

Dan Marino just admitted to fathering a child with a CBS employee.

Ray Lewis needs to come clean too.

Former Ravens quarterbacks coach Hue Jackson issued an apology Wednesday night for introducing Mitch Ross to inside linebacker Ray Lewis.

"First of all, I'm disappointed for the Ravens," Jackson told The Sun in a telephone interview Wednesday night. "You hate to ever put an organization in that kind of situation. I never knew the young man [Ross] could be that way. I apologize for the whole organization. It should be about the Super Bowl. I met the guy at the [NFL] combine in 2008."

"What happened is you think everybody is doing things for the right reason. I knew there was nothing illegal based on information given by him. He always talked about things, saying they were already approved by the NFL. You live and you learn. I dealt with that two years ago. Anytime it comes up, my name is mentioned."

"Ray is one of the greatest football players to ever play the game," Jackson said. "This kind of thing should never happen to him. He doesn't deserve it. It's not fair. This is not about talking about a relationship that he met a guy a few years back. It should be about him trying to win the most important game of all this season. Ray means the world to me. Ray has spoken his peace and I stand behind him 100 percent."

"What I needed to do was apologize to Steve Bisciotti, John Harbaugh, **** Cass and the Ravens' organization," said Jackson, the Ravens' quarterbacks coach from 2008 to 2009. "I'm the person who introduced him to people. Lesson learned."

"My whole thought is to never put anyone in a bad situation. The league has already dealt with me. Here, it's the Super Bowl, the greatest week of all for football and it's been about anything but the Ravens and the 49ers."
