Selling his home by Lambeau Field...looks like he is going to go somewhere...I think, if healthy, he would be a nice pick up to help out the young guys....

I'd like this move, too. I think he's more of a team player and would gladly help coach Jones and Sanu up while he was here taking heat off A.J. (playing the 2nd WR role).

I like his style of play, but he always seems to be banged up, plus I think he benefits immensely from playing with Aaron Rodgers. Let's not forget that his replacement, James Jones, put up 14 touchdowns this season when Jennings when down.
If we could get him fairly cheap, I'm all for it though. Seems like a leader. |

You just want to ride the jetski on his back while he does push-ups.

I'm on the bandwagon. But I think he may be out of our price range. We need a vet, but with AJ we shouldn't spend big money on one.

I like Sanu coming back and I just think Jennings is too old.

If he's a good player still and you want to bring him in to play WR, that's fine. If you want another coach, just hire a damn coach. We're not going to being a player in to act as a coach. |

Dwayne Bowe, if he's even a free agent.

Greg Jennings? Yes please! In addition to being a terrific receiver, Greg could help Andy Dalton immensely by instructing him in ways to think like Aaron Rodgers. It's not just quarterback coaches who help teach quarterbacks: Experienced wide receivers can do this too.

He's a viable receiver and better than Jennings!

The perfect fit next to AJ while the kids develop. Give him an incentive laden contract and mentor our young guys then pray he stays healthy. Of the people out there to bring in as a vet WR not named Welker, Jennings is the man to get here!!!

To the people saying "if we can get him cheap", why do you think he won't be in GB next yr? It's not be cause he doesn't want to be its bc they won't be able to afford him. That being said I would love to have him on this team but if we were gonna spend that much on a receiver I would rather have Bowe.

Jennings is the only top name free agent id like for us to sign but realistically I don't see it happening. You'd have to imagine the coaches liked the potential Sanu and Jones flashed.

I want it after watching how good the Falcons have been on offense with dual threat receiver. Gresham isn't as good as Tony but still. I think our offense would look better than theirs. Our #3,4,5 WRs and our run game are better. I'm still ****** we didn't try harder for Wayne last year. Would have been the perfect compliment to A.J. and he still had plenty left. Signed back with Colts for a pretty low number. He probably wouldn't even have had to move! |

+1.
Doesn't that phrase "if we can get him cheap" just grate on your nerves? The "getting him cheap" philosophy led to the Bengals' plunge into the abyss after Paul Brown died and with the new salary cap rules in place it's time to bury the "get him cheap" philosophy forever. Failing to pony up the cash to attract big-name talent is a mortal sin in today's NFL and a team gets what it pays for. To get good players, a team has to shell out the dough, period. It's not an option. Money can't buy wins per se but it can buy enough talent to produce wins. That's the secret in any professional sport and if you don't believe me, ask Robert Kraft of the Patriots or look at the late George Steinbrenner of the Yankees. |
