also, a center, left tackle, running back, strong safety, free safety, 2 linebackers, a defensive lineman (or 2),

that's about 9 players needed to make us competitive for multiple years.

DE are fine they were playing run hard today. The pa fakes held the rush.

Johnson and Smith are must signs Rey could see a move to Sam if they get an impact MLB.

The team is not smart enough to keep all of their top tier players. Then they say they build through the draft, so we will not go after any signficant FAs.

We have so many needs right now and when we choose to let Andre Smith and Michael Johnson walk (mistakes to lose them) we will have even more. We need 1 or 2 OLB's unless we choose to leave Burfict at OLB and then we would need MLB early. We need a RB, as mentioned OT and DE more than likely. Center is a need and we have needed a Safety for years now. Drafting another good young QB would be wise to replace Gradkowski and be ready to take over if needed. Not to mention another young CB to replace the aging guys that play now. So yeah with that many needs and Mike Browns unwillingness to spend money on top free agents I would say we are hurting.

Agree with most of what you are saying but no way should Rey be re-signed to play any position on this team. I was excited when he was drafted and patient for years waiting on his progression thinking it would click. He just isn't getting any better and his time is up.

Our needs IMO: SS, MLB, OLB, DE, RB, C, WR2, CB
Hopefully CB, OLB, and C will take care of themselves with a healthier team. I really want to see what Wharton can do at OG and Boiling at Center
Howard is a huge part of why we are playing so poorly with him out our D looks totally different.
I want Jarvis Jones or Mingo at the rate we are playing

I think that RB is the most pressing matter on the offence and for the defence I think we need better safties Who Dey!!!
