People are becoming dumber and dumber

For instance the thread Zona started about that teacher. This woman went to college and graduated but still was dumb enough to post photos of herself smoking pot and of her being naked or whatever.

We have another thread posted about a guy who thought his dog is gay and wanted it put down because of it.

A while back, I think I asked if people have always been this stupid. I just don't believe people have always been this dumb and this is just a new thing we all have to put up with and try to fix it.

Maybe it's not stupidity but more a lack of common sense. All the book smarts in the world means absolutely nothing when you have no common sense.

It truly is scarry how people are now and it's amazing how many live past 30 years old.

Stupidity has not increased, I guess. Awareness has. There are so many platforms these days on which people can display their dumbness - opportunities imbeciles from former days could only have dreamed of.

Maybe the population is slowly increasing their intake of heavy metals. That or osteoclasts are slowly winning the war and Pb levels in the blood has slowly increased, thus chipping away at the IQ of the populace?
