Based on how teams look now, I'd have to go with the Bengals. Draft picks, cap space, and young players that continue to improve.
Ravens if they play all season like they did in the post season. They were crazy good.

Ask again after this offseason.
Bengals are making progress, but there's a few holes to fill and a lot of quality players to get resigned. Browns have some talented players. With the right moves and some firm coaching, they could make leaps in improvement next year. Although, I really don't see them going anywhere with a 40 year old sophomore QB. Ravens will have some big question marks. Right now, I'd say they're in the best position. Which, ya know, is easy to say right after they just raised one. Steelers are a few years off.

As long as Mike Brown and Marv Lewis are still where they are, then not the Bengals.

That's always suspect. Look at the Giants. 9-7 horrendous season last year, but if you tuned in from another country for the playoffs, you would have thought they went undefeated for the season.

Honestly, this is way too early to say. One thing for certain, it won't be the Steelers. I've been wanting them to do some rebuilding for a while now, glad it's finally happening.
The Ravens will have some cap issues and rebuilding to do after this year as well. But that doesn't necessarily count them out. Browns, I look at them like the Pirates. They start off a season with people going "they could finally break that streak, they could do something this year" and then they fail to pull it off. Bengals? Hard to say what will happen there. |

Browns are the Browns and can never put it all together.
Steelers are old on D, have no offensive line, and are so far over the cap that they'll need to cut some core players (some people might re-structure, but it still doesn't leave any room to bring in players to upgrade positions). Ravens are aging on D and lose the best backer in the history of the game and possibly their game changer at safety and he talked like he was ready to walk away from the team. They also have a few other big free agents that they need to sign (Pitta, Williams, Kruger), and they'd have to find time to do all that while working to keep their franchise QB in town. Assuming the Bengals sign their own FAs, draft well to give them depth and fill the few needs, they have the best shot.

Ryan Clark- 33 James Harrison- 34 Casey Hampton- 35 Brett Keisel- 34 Larry Foote- 32 That's SIX STARTERS on your D that are over 30, which is very old for defenders in the NFL, especially on a team that plays as physical as the Steelers. Over half your D is over 30, well over in some cases, and you don't think that D is old?

Our defense is led by these guys: Geno Atkins- 25 in March Michael Johnson- 26 Carlos Dunlap- 24 Leon Hall- 28 Reggie Nelson- 30 in september Vontaze Burfict- 23 in September I'd say the future looks brightest for the Bengals, no doubt.

The players he listed for the Steelers yes they are old but I don't think he knows that half those players haven't made the impact they used to and the backups have been playing great. Hampton is so washed up..He did have a decent season last year but He will be gone, Harrison just is done, Polamalu while I love the guy he is done. If he can stay healthy is he great but his backup played really well last year. Losing Foote will hurt. Clark is great but I feel he can be replaced..then you have Da Beard..he is great too. So of the 6 old people. 3 of them are keys.

Then you have the offense, with Boldin and Jacoby Jones as possible cuts. Flacco is going to get around 20 million per, which will eat up a huge portion of the cap. I'm not saying the Ravens will go 8-8 next year, but I think the Bengals have a great shot at the division for the foreseeable future.
