I admit to not watching a lot of college football or highlight reels, etc.
It might be easier to assess players if I knew who their size or speed or ability or overall game resembles in the league, past or present. So and so reminds me of so and so, runs like him, hits like him, throws like him, etc. Who ya got? Could be anybody, any position. Would really like to know about the common names in this forum.

it's funny I've seen Gillislee compared to Jamal charles multiple times and that's who I compaired him to. But some like cbs/rang thought something completly different.

How about the S's who get the most pub around here? Or the RB's.

Eddie Lacy is Steven Jackson with a spin move. Mixed with some Jamal Lewis.

Seems like I saw one of the S's. maybe Elam? compared to Polamalu. Any such comparison would be great. Puts a picture in your mind.

Because he'll be drafted in the 6th and end up with the perfect coach or will he marry a super model?

I'd take either one of those but would prefer the Ed Reed.

I dont really like comparing by the #s when it comes to speed. I look at how they play and the style they bring. And using MAX potential type comparisons here....
Vaccaro - Id compare him to an Earl Thomas of sorts. Great speed and range. Vaccaro is more physical and less of a ballhawk. Both can play nickle CB if need be. Shawn Williams - Brian Dawkins more so in style of play than actual physical attributes. Rambo - Troy Polumalu. Needs to be in the right system that let's him use his natural gifts. Not a fit in a strict FS/SS role. Needs to be able to sit back and freelance at times. (I know their games are nothing alike but they both need that right system. Without it both would just be average) Eddie Lacy - Steven Jackson. Big tough runners who don't go down easily. Can make people miss without top end speed.

I think Elam is more stiff. Less of a "natural" than Troy.

I don't see that comparison at all. Not even close.

Doesn't Charles have sprinter speed? Does Gillislee? Maybe it's about the build.

Can't really help you here, as I am not a fan of comparing guys. I just want to comment that every Safety before the draft is compared to Reed and Polamalu. Then after the draft they show no signs of either. Not saying that they aren't good, but that the expectations are so high, only to fall short.
The reason Vaccaro looks like Earl Thomas is because they came from the same system in college. He is a little bigger so he is more "physical". I see both players being the same as Michael Huff from the Oakland Raiders who also played for Texas. |

Have heard and would agree with the comparison of Giovani Bernard to Ray Rice. Neither player has elite straight line speed as will show in 40 times,. However, both players possess good vision, quickness, shiftiness, and pass catching ability.
Arthur Brown reminds me of Lavonte David from last year. Both players are about the same size and both can cover. Also both guys can shed blockers and tackle well despite the knock on the size.
