Cardinals' Chris Carpenter to sit out 2013 season
St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Chris Carpenter will likely miss the 2013 season and may be forced to retire due to a nerve injury which caused him to miss all except 3 games of the 2012 season. Overall record is 144-94. In 18 postseason starts is 10-4 with a 3.00 ERA.
