He got the ball stripped by arms of twigs Adam Jones reaching around him from behind. That told me all I need to know about him.

Probably the best point that can made. I do like his running style, but there probably isn't much tread left on the tires. They may end up taking an RB early in the draft as a result. Didn't seem like they had much trust in David Wilson at the end of last yr.

I agree 100%. this moron + his twit buddy truck101 (i think) have some serious issues w/ believing that their way is the only way. Just a couple of certified numbskulls................as for the matter at hand, Bradshaw > Scott, Leaonard, Peerman............like u said, as long as he's cheap then why the heck not

Goodson is a free agent and has some good potential still. I like this idea a lot the more I think about it. Would come at little expense for sure.

Bradshaw 26 he would be a risk due to injury but could bring something to our offense that puts us over the hump.
Goodson should be cheap and add a punch same as Scott
Both would be a good pickup but we should still add a mid round draft pick

I don't think he'd be an ideal option, especially on his own with no one drafted in the top half of the draft, but I don't see why it would hurt to consider him for a spot along with a youngster coming out of the draft.

If he's healthy, and relatively cheap, then I would not be opposed if he was brought in along with say a 2nd or 3rd round pick.

The guy is pretty good in the pass game and is better than anyone we've had in "backup" role in years. If we were to go the route of taking someone on the 3rd, and managed to bring him in for depth and to bolster the pass game a little, then I don't see how anyone would be so against it. In fact, if he commanded under 2 mil, it would be a really nice little pickup. We'd go from having Ced Benson and no one worth a crap, then BGE and no one worth a crap, to having BGE, 2-3rd round pick, and Bradshaw. That would be some nice depth, some nice veteran experience, and being assured that we have someone capable of catching passes. (This would all hinge on his heath and price though)

PS Don't pay attention to some of these guys. If you mention any FA that anyone has ever heard of then they don't want them. None of them. (Even if they're cheap) I don't know why, but seriously, they never want any FA of note. Unless it Brian Hartline and his asking price of 6 mil per.

Nothing to do with"their" way as much as the constant numbskulledness of signing EVERY SINGLE injury riddled and malcontent released player is well ....ridiculous. Let's go from a common sense point of view which has been tried in virtually every one of these ridiculous threads.

The shelf life of a running back is extremely short as it is. You have a RB who has already shown a penchant for injury. See the ridiculous side of it? Or you could use money productively in the FA market and go after FAs such as DeAndre Levy, Justin Durant, Nick Roach, Hartline, Cox, etc.

See where does the numbskull bit lie now? See you sure up a deficiency with a young proven player like Durant or Levy that are not always injured. See then it frees you up in the draft to add two dynamic young backs such as Christine Michael and Kenjon Barner for example. However, coming from a numbskull I guess that would not make much sense.

So rather reading productive uses of FA dollars you would rather run your mouth about others being against FA signings when it is not all accurate as posted thread proves. Rather some are just against using money unproductively in the FA market.

I still don't know what you're talking about. You posted that thread as somehow a response to me. I'm not re-reading that to figure out what you're trying to say.

What I'm saying is that more often than not whenever I click on a thread about a FA I see the same people writing "No" "No thanks" "Are you kidding me", etc. That's all fine I guess, but when I see it over and over again it leads me to believe that some of those people don't want to sign anyone, ever, that has been a legitimate player in this league.

If I'm mistaken, my apologies, It just seems like every other post is anger or a complaint about someone mentioning a player. But please, list out some of the guys you would like to target in this FA period. I'd love to see where you're coming from.

PS Right price is relative to every single player. It has nothing to do with them not being worth their money. In fact, it's the exact opposite. Right price means getting them for the right value. In regards to Bradshaw, if he's brought into the right role, at, say 1-1.5 per, then I don't see that as using the money unproductively. To put that dollar amount into perspective, Jason Allen got 4 mil or so last year. Giving a healthy vet like Bradshaw a mil or so is nothing.
