Fallout 4

Apparently, Fallout 4 is being planned. The guy that voiced Three Dog in Fallout 3 has signed on to resurrect his character and was given permission from Bethesda to tweet that info. They've also been busy with the Patents and Copyright office licensing things that seem to be related to a new Fallout environment.

Obviously, this sounds like its still a long way off, but it's exciting nonetheless. Fallout 3 is one of my favorite games ever. I hope they get back to a "vault dweller" storyline. New Vegas was fun, but it didn't feel very "falloutish" to me.

Time to start saving some extra cash for those new consoles.

Hopefully those Next Gen consoles dont follow the rumors of constant internet connection zero backwards captability and no used game sales.

And hopefully they dont do boston. I want a mid west city to see a new order of the BoS. Im sure they will let Ensemble do another fallout as well which should take place in Californa.

The only cool thing that can come of keeping the game on the east coast is possibly seeing results of your deeds in Fallout 3.

Agree about the next gen consoles. A lot of fans are not going to be happy about this (actually, I don't think ANY fans are). And people keep saying they'll wait to buy the system when it's price goes down, but it'll go down 50 in a year and that's probably it.

Now on Fallout, love that game. Great atmosphere and story line. Loved everything about it

Cant Argue I've loved fallout since the first game... and Fallout 3 was a great treat for gamers. It didnt follow traditional fallout play style like NewVegas tried to but it was still great fun. And fallout 4 will be a direct sequal to it.

Speaking of next gen consoles, Sony has some big play station related announcement to be made on February 20. Most seem to think it'll be the announcement of the PS4 to be released later this year.

I just don't play that many console games, so the though of shelling out that much $$$ for a new system *****, but I won't fool myself and say I won't buy it. If it means I get to play Fallout 4 and Dragon Age 3, I'll pay pretty much anything they're asking.

From what I've read, Xbox is probably waiting for E3 to announce their next gen consoles, and it will come out this holiday season. I've also read recently that the PS4 probably won't be out this year. But who knows....maybe they're just better at keeping stuff under wraps than Microsoft...this announcement could be it.

Anyone see the IllumiRoom tech. for the new Xbox's?

Seems kind of gimmicky, but it may have some cool applications...

I think its awesome It extends your TV out unto your living room giving your perf vision a tease.. but over all should make for more immersive game play. Microsoft is waiting for E3 this year. And is a big reason theres not many games set to release the later half of this year for the 360.

The original source of the Boston rumors revealed that he was just making stuff up, so that's a relief....

However, the poster has since retracted his statements, saying that "I have no proof because this was all a lie. Got bored and posted this."

I think I'm just trying to temper my expectations for the IllumiRoom tech., since I was massively disappointed by the Kinect after being so excited at the concept of it back when it was only known as Project Natal. If it wasn't for that, I'd probably be really excited about it.

I think I'm just trying to temper my expectations for the IllumiRoom tech., since I was massively disappointed by the Kinect after being so excited at the concept of it back when it was only known as Project Natal. If it wasn't for that, I'd probably be really excited about it.

Kinect has its uses i love the work out programs for it... and what they have been able to do (turning a projector screen into a touch screen etc) by reverse engerineering it should help the next version of the kenict be better.

The biggest problem with the kinect like the wii is getting Developers to use it. so far its mainly voice commands in the bigger titles. I expect that might change if motion gaming takes off


As for Fallout 4... The original rumor I heard was that it was in San Francisco. One of the locations i believe from fallout 2.
